i applied in land spousal sponsorship last july 2010,last May  25, i got my first stage approval, but untill now my e cas doesnt change.I read some here that they landed already and we sent our applications in the same month.....im wondering why its too long that i will get my  2nd stage approval...im just worried...any idea why it takes too long like this for me?

everyone is different some background checks are longer than others some cases are more simple no 2 cases are identical and no 2 IO are identical that is why others may be approved before you...your time will come

Comparing your application processing time with others is not a good idea, everyones case is different.

Current estimates on the CIC site shows 9 months + 9 months.   

Your first stage took 10 months, but it is only two months since you got 1st stage approval. At present you can live and work in Canada, I would try not to worry too much, get on with living.
