Any exams to be given to get an IT job in Canada

Hi,

I am from India,I hold bachelor's degree in Information Technology.  have 3 yrs of IT experience.Soon will be immigrating to Canada. Do i need to appear for any kind on assessment examination or do any kind to course to get job in Canada.

If you haven't already, I would see if Canada regards your Degree in IT as equivalent or not.

It will important to see if (as it is) it's regarded as equivalent to a Canadian Degree in IT, or at the College level -- or you may need to take a few additional courses -- hard to say until you're credentials are reviewed.

For start you need to have Canadian work experience in IT to get a job in IT. Forget about the 3 year degree you have from India, that only qualifies you to get point according to the immigration system. Once you are here its a totally different ball game. You have to get re-certified and then look for jobs and perhaps also do come additional certifications CCNA, MCSE, CCIE etc
