Hi,
I also applied to CHC, New Delhi. After medicals, we need to submit our passport to VFS office after 5 working days. From then it will take 5 working days. In my case it took 3 days working days to get Visa.
I would suggest to consult VFS office where you submitted the passports.

Hey Priyum here is good news, today i received my passport with stamped W1 work permit for 2 years and a letter to show on Canadian immigration. By da way its good i got this W1 without LMO as in my case its intra company Transferee. Thanks buddy.

Hey Kentish, how you applied if you applied through VFS then you can check your status and thats only Passport received, Released or Under process nothing else. in UK Normal processing time is 1 month means 30 working days and you applied on 28th june so now it is going to be one month wait for another 1 week and if you didn't receive any update then send email to CHC UK about your case and process.

How much time it will take for work permit visa once u received employer or sponsor letter and filed from India...... Hi,

hi first of fall congratulations for getting ur visa .As u already go through the visa aprocess i need some info from u i had also applied my visa application on 8 july 2011 at new delhi office for workpermit with LMO and it's still showing under process,i had read all ur posts , i would like to know ,Is there any call for interview at the canadian high commision before the medical if any then plz let me know whatkind of the questions u encountered because i really getting worried abt that .I hope u can understand my situation this time. i'll be very thankful for ur prompt reply |

I had my medicals on 01-08-11 and resubmitted the passport on 05-08-11 at CHC New Delhi and still my application shows under process. How much time does it takes after medical as its almost two weeks and still not heard anything from consulate.I have applied Work Permit Under Intra Company transferee.

It takes 5 business days after you send your Passports back to Delhi.
Be cool and you will get it.

It's take 5 working days but sometimes it takes more than that even i got my passport after 9 days so don't worry.You will get ur passport with visa stamped soon. |

Its over 11 working days since i resubmitted my passport after medicals to CHC New Delhi and still did not heard anything from them. I had submitted my PP on 05-Aug-2011.
