I sent an application for skilled worker immigration about 3 months ago. Can I expect to get any replies from the immigration office? I'm a resident of USA and citizen of a third country.

If you mean to say that you have sent the initial application kit to CIO, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada; then soon you should get a letter from them (AOR) with your case file number.

Please go thru other posts in this forum to find out the timelines. From what I read, there appears to be a long queue in CIO these days. Also you can check the current timings in trackitt.com
