I live in British Columbia in Canada.  My husband lives in Morocco.  Immigration Canada approved our application for spousal sponsorship.  The application for permanent residence was received on March 31, 2011, at the visa office in Rabat, Morocco.  Anyone could share their story with me?  I would like to have an idea how long it will take for my husband to come and also I would like to know more about how things are going with your application so far.  Thanks a lot!!!

Try the above thread for persons with similar experiences and stories going through the Rabat embassy.

Thank you for the link, but I read these stories already.  They are 4 years old.  I need something more recent and something with more information.  For example, what was the processing time of the spouse to get his visa from Rabat in 2010 or 2011.

It depends on if an interview is required or not.  Without an interview, 6 to 7 months.  With an interview, 11 to 12 months.
