Any body sent FBI certificate to CIC before receiving AOR? Please respond.Thx

I already sent my application to Buffalo visa office 2 months ago with out my FBI clearance certificate since at that time I didn't receive it. Last month, I received my FBI clearance certificate and I sent that along with a letter identifying myself with my ClientID UCI, first name, last name, Date of Birth and Passport number.
 
But now my friend was saying I should only sent any other documents only after receiving the AOR number otherwise they might request to send the FBI certificate again. Is that the case for any one?
 
Anybody sent the FBI certificate before getting the AOR number like me? Seniors please share your experience and guide me or else should I apply for another FBI certificate to be on safe side if they request to send it again...
