HI there,

I'm at Paris VO as well. I plan to take the medical tomorrow if courier arrives with my official docs before noon. Huh
Is there any advice you would give me before medical? I'm a bit afraid of telling all my medical history and medicines I take. Could it be a problem? Please answer as soon as you can since I would go tomorrow.

I got Medical request 10/august. Full docs were sent on 6/may. I have paid RPRF as well. Also 1111 NOC:)

Cheers

 Cool

Hope I am not late !

Okay, as per my experience, I answered all questions they asked me.
No lies at all or else you will loose every thing.

You will have to get a chest x-ray if you know that you had or still have a problem with your chest so you know already the result, that is to say if you had or have Tuberculosis, heart problem like (dilatation in french) or veins (dilatées) or something like a spot ( une tache) so you may be asked further medical exams.

Then, Urine and blood tests.  they look for ;

AIDS, Syphilis, Hept B, Diabets, problems with kidneys, liver...

Then you will have the clinical check-up ; here you have to tell them what you are taking and what you have when they ask you, just answer what they ask. If you do not have any life lasting illness which needs very expensive medecine or you don't have any dangerous illness so no problem but if you are going to talk about one illness you got when you were a child and which disappeared completely so there is no need.

Just answer truely what they ask you then every thing will be alright Godwilling.

Good luck !

Can you share you experience stating different steps of your procedure.

Many thanks

Hi GRE2CAN,

How are you ?

Okay, did you see my procedure history ?

Honestly, I think that it depends on the case but can you explain a little bit more you imm. procedure history : I mean date of application, 1st AOR, date of sending your documents 2nd AOR, did you paid the landing fees ? did you receive a receipt for that ?

In my case, the day my e-cstatus changed into IN PROCESS 15-6-2010 I received the medical request at the same time.  I believe it depends on how they proceed in their office. Just pray God to help you!

Wainting for your next answer.

Many thanks

Hi Imanova i'm gud n thx 4ur reply.

well as mentioned in my profile

date of application: Feb 4th 2010
1st AOR: March 22nd 2010
date of sending documents: July 13 2010
2nd AOR: July 22nd 2010

my e-status indicates that my application and supporting documents were received by the Paris office. They are pending review. I assume we will receive the landing fees once we complete the medicals, isn't it? or I might be wrong.

Hi Guys,

I'm glad we are 3 now!!

Gre2Can:
I'm answering your question was asked in the other thread here, as we all may continue talking here:)
The additional documents were marriage cert. and an explanation about it as they found my family status confusing because of a little mistake on a payslip. If this mistake had not happened I wouldn't been asked for additional doc at all. So I think they may not ask anything more from you. I'm from Central Europe originally.

Imanova: Hey I'm happy you are here. I tried hard to send my reply without success:( Then I opened a thread to notify you about it but unfortunately you haven't seen it either.
Yes, I visited the doctor yesterday. He asked some questions about health history and examined us. As he didn't really speak much English it was very difficult:( I checked the papers he filled out of us and pointed out some mistakes he misunderstood and wrote down incorrectly. I just pray for God that we won't experience any problem due to these inconveniences.....He told he will send the receipt of blood and urine tests we have to pay separately to our home address. Imanova please give me your view on the followings:
We had to pay for the examination only 150 Euros. I was surprised because I had thought it was 150/person.
1. Was it ok this way? 2. We didn't get any invoice of this 150 Euros, we will get invoice of the blood and urine tests and X-ray only. Is it normal? You told I need them so now I'm confused.... 3. He told that blood is only taken for checking AIDS and Syphilis when I believed they check you general blood picture as well like they do with the urine. How is it working really? 4. the doctor told us when we arrived that we should have booked appointment for X-ray already..... We got upset as we asked him several times on phone that was there anything else we needed to know?Huh Did we need to do more??? And answer was no, nothing..... And then it turned out that he is not responsible for taking x-ray, hasn't booked us himself for x-ray and hasn't mentioned we had to do that either.....We were really not happy. We then booked ourselves for next Tuesday.
If it happens that day we should wait another week for the results to be sent to Paris.....Great.
 Roll Eyes
Imanova please share you opinion, I'm concerned about it and really need your advice!
Also please let me know if you have space in your inbox and what I wanted to send there I will send.

All the best to you Guys!

I have paid the landing fees in next day after doing the medicals.

Dont wait the request, otherwise you will slow down the process.

Hi Gre2Can, and Paco  - I'm happy you join to us:)

In my opinion you will have to pay the landing fees at the same time you are going through the medical examination. I agree with Paco, there is no point to wait longer e.g. when your medical results will be delivered because it my cause some delays. They will send you the letter asks you to pay the landing fee packed together with the medical request.

VO stated in the letter: If you wait too long to pay the landing fee it may cause delays in the evaluation of your Medical, and Security Clearance.

Paco! I asked some questions were concerning me about medical but unfortunately Imanova hasn't came back to us with her opinion. Could you please check my questions? If you know the answers, please answer to me.

Thank you,
And good luck to the followings

 Wink

Hi every body,

I am sorry for the delay. I did not get connected these days.

Ok, as to my experience of course.

To 1111TOCANADA, How is life with you ? Fine, I hope.

Ok, now is the name of your MDP ine the official list assigned by CIC ?

If it is that, so you have no problem.

Mistakes on the forms are dangerous if it is your name, adress, age... your identity because this is what will be written on your visa and what is written on your visa must match with the information on your PP.

So, do not accept that !!

For invoices, you have to get  a receipt for each medicak checking : clinical , blood and urine or X-RAY because ir may happen that VO askes for them, then you have your proof. May be you will not need them at all .

What I paid for the doctor was the equivalent of 205.80 Euros for me and my 2 kids 10years and 7 years.

For the blood or urine just check what is asked in the forms by VO and your doctor must ask you to do these analysis.
It they ask for Syphilis and Aids only so no worry at all.

X-RAY MUST BE DONE BY A SPECIALIST AND YOU HAVE TO REMIND HIM THAT IT IS FOR IMMIGRATION CANADA.

OK. I have to go. We will carry on later.

Have a nice day for you all.
