Hi guys and gals Our cases in this thread are MI-1 which is from Feb 2008 to June 2010 please read the following useful information from other threads:- ... "Check these statistics, truly shocking stuff http://www.data.gc.ca/default.asp?lang=En&n=5175A6F0-1&xsl=datacataloguerecord&metaxsl=datacataloguerecord&formid=427337D0-7C36-4FED-8428-C6A63F8C19B3Between April 2011 to March 2012 LVO processed 5,060 cases of MI-1 and rejected 3,683 at an approval rate of 27%. Approval rate for new streams (MI-2 and MI-3 is more than 90%). But the reason is fairly clear, MI-2 & 3 Applicants have to submit complete application package including JD's (The most common reason for refusal of MI-1 applicants) to CIO NS hence their applications are pre-assed at this initial stage & chance of refusal are quite low when submitted to VO's unlike M-1 applicants that only submitted filled forms and no docs/ proof to CIO NS. But the Positive thing in this data is that No of Visa's Issued to MI-1 applicants are almost 38% of total visa's issued to FSW in last one year while for MI-2 & 3 applicants this no is only 9.2% . " |

Hi mov20 I don't know the actual meaning of pass. but looking again into excel file you can find two independent columns for pass and visa. So I think your point of view is correct |

Hi abdelrazaq, Yea I got surprised once saw the statistics. If you search all VO's you will find that Warsaw VO have the minimum percentage of acceptance for MI-1. |

in CAIPS PSDES means paper selection decision SELDEC means selection decision they are coded in process date for example if your process in ecas is 15.12.2011 stating" we reviewed your application and started processing" these codes been assigned. If you get coded both 1 means you have passed unconditionally . But if they ask you for some updated supporting documnets it is more likely that SELDEC is coded as 4 means they will re-assesses your application in the next satges for eligibilty after recieving your updated documents. mov20 What dose it mean by PSED and SELDEC? could you please explain them?
