I apologize if this question has been asked before or if its in the information guide posted on the CIC website. I have read through everything and am still uncertain on how to move forward. I was really hoping for some advice from someone that has filled out the IMM 0008 form.

(i am Canadia, sponsoring my American husband)

There are questions on the form (for example: Question #7 under Application Details: Have you received your Certificatde Selection du Quebec (CSQ)) that do not apply to us in any way, it would lead me to put N/A in the space provided - as per the immigrants guide - however this particular question will only accept a Yes or No answer.

Im probably thinking too much into this but i also read not to leave anything blank so im posting this question to see if anyone else was as confused as me.

Again, i really appreciate your time and hope someone doesnt mind responding.

Thanks
Amanda

Amanda, no is a good answer and N/A is ok as it is not applicable. It is only useful for those doing Quebec application. remember it is a generic form.

Thanks for your quick response.

Yes i know its a generic form Smiley, my only hesitation was that if i answer no, there is a subsequent box for "if you selected no" that i cannot complete or type N/A into.

Ill hold off and come back to that question but thank you i appreciate your help Smiley

Note if you put NO in the box 7a Note that box 7b and 7c gray out, so they don't have to be filled.

At first i was frustrated that it kept greying out but realized it throughout the rest of the application based on the way some of the questions were answered.

Very much appreciate your response PMM Smiley

Have a great evening.
