Its not father in law that's the applicant

My husband is sponsoring him from Fiji (we are from Canada)

question:  Nobody seems to remember the date of birth of the applicant's (my father in law) father.  My father in law went to the main city to the General Office of Registry and they told him they do not have it on file.

We have his date of death, but not his DOB.

What am I supposed to do in this case?

i had the same questions so i called  the Canadian immigrations office and they told me if you don't have the date of birth write down the letter explaining the reason why you don't have the date of birth. you can say you don't have any record to be found from government office and from all other documents due to the lack of tracking

no problem farzana Cheesy

i also asked them few of other question as well listed below

1.How to prove you are financially dependent on your parents. What kind of documents require?
Ans: all kind of school fees receipts, letter from parents they fully supporting you get signature of them, shopping receipts bank statement, any policy

2.How to prove you are full time students you only have the transcript from the school and they don't have letters which states that this is full time study.
Ans : all the transcript from the school , you needs to obtain the letters from collage , which will say this is full time course and  they and to eligeble for participate in exam you needs to attend the # hours to school.

3. Do we have to send all the study documents prior to age of 22 or just after the age of 22 to show that you are fulltime student
Ans : both before and after all study information's you provide is better

4.If you don't know the date of birth of your grandparents what should we write down?
Ans :  write letter explaining you don't have information's

5.Do we have to include only where they lived in their life or do we have to mention about the travel they did during that time as well.
Ans : you needs to include all the travelling information included if they travel out side the cuntry or if they lived certain perioud of time in another city or so for last 10 years or since the age of 18

6.If the person had the TB  or any hart diseas before 3 & 1/2 years and now he is completely fine do we needs to mention that in background declaration form. As it only said if they had any disease. Does disease needs to be declare
Ans : yes needs to get declare doesn't matter if they are cured now or not you needs to mentioned it on the form

7.What is the UCI # in the form IMM0008
Ans : its client Id number usually we don't have that so just leave black or say N/A

Pari4U,

No one seems to be responding I am wondering you might know this question:

Do I have to pay again?

I alraedy paid when we first did the application back in 2008.

now that CIC is processing the application, as you know, there are a ton of other forms we have to do.

Do we have to pay again??  Or just mail a copy of the recipe from back in 2008

thank sooooooo much.

Hoping to mail everything off today/tomorrow !
