Another medical exam confusion and some general advice needed

Hi guys, heres my current situation:
I have come over from england to live with my wife who is canadian, I have lived with her for two years on a temporary visa and now im am building the information needed to apply from within canada (britih columbia) via the sponsor route.
here are my worries:
1) Medical Examination
- I have booked a medical which is going to happen one month from now, after booking this medical I have seen various pieces of information that state the immigration office infact request this medical after your forms are sent in.
- I have heard some other stories on this site of people needing something called form C when they go get their medical, does this apply to me, the lady at the doctors office only mentioned three photographs?
- I have read somewhere that your results of the examination are sent to some other office, as I booked my medical exam before ive sent in any forms will this mean if they request another medical or that the doctors office wont know where to send the results before they are requested?
- My sponsor checklist requires me to have both proof of a completed medical examination and a perminent resident form which also requires a medical examination, will the medical exam i take now be sufficient for both of these?
2) Work Permit
- can i sent off for a work permit at the same time as sending off for a sponsorship to reside within canada?
- will this be a perminent work permit and will i need a job offer in order for it to be accepted?
3) Any tips to ensure my application will be acceppted without the use of a laywer?
Thanks to anyone who got through all that, i might be overthinking all this but some of your probably know how stressful this can all be, i just want things to run smoothly its taken me way too long to piece together everything i need to get :(

The first tip I would give you is to read the instructions thoroughly again. You are confusing different types of applications! Just do what it says for a SPOUSAL application.
1. One medical is all you need. And for spousal sponsorships, you have to do it before you send the applications and include the receipt the DMP's office will give you. If you are applying outland, you need to complete the region specific form that is specified for the country where the application will be sent after sponsorship has been approved by CIC. That's the "C" thing you are talking about. The DMP sends the results of the medical to the proper CIC medical processing center. You just need to include your receipt with your application. You're done. Just one medical for all.
2. If you are applying inland (to Vegreville) you can include an application for an Open Work Permit with the sponsorship and PR application. This is not available to outland applicants. No, you do not need a job offer. The OWP is valid until you receive a decision on your PR application.

Thank you for such a fast reply, I didnt realise there two forms for sponsoring and spousal were different forms.

I am concerned that you really aren't understanding this or reading the instructions thoroughly. Are you applying as an inland applicant or outland? If you are applying inland, ONLY follow the instructions for that class of application. If you are applying as an outland applicant, follow those instructions. READ the appropriate instructions very carefully and then ask your questions.
