Hello to everybody!
I applied under Simplified Application Process in 2007 in Ankara.
I was asked for the complete package in March 2009 and I sent all documents to Ankara in June 2009.
My letter stated that I would hear about the next steps within 4-6 months after the receipt of my full application.
Is there anyone in a similar situation? What is the experience?

Dear Tblisi, I submitted my documents to Ankara 2 weeks ago, and it seems that they are quite fast with applications under the new immigration system. My ECAS status has already been changed to 'IN PROCESS' but I don't know how the old simplified application process works. But check out trackitt.com I've seen many old applications there, there might be people waiting just like you. Good luck

Hi AnkaraCafe. Thanks for your input, but you are in a very different situation as you are in the NEW process (after February 2008). Wish you fast track and good luck :)
Anyone who applied in ANKARA in 2007 under SIMPLIFIED???
