I am about to mail out my application package now. However, I've got a problem here. the CIO's checklist IMM5612 item 8 requires:
"2 self-addressed mailing labels one in English or French and the second in the official language of your country".

My home country is China and the official language is Chinese. However, I am currently living in Canada and apply through FSW2, my mailing address is also Canadian, do I have to translate my mailing address into Chinese? My God, I don't even know if there is a Chinese translation for the small town I'm living now. Embarrassed

Thank you. Another question regarding the fee payment. IMM5620 only calculate $550 for myself, but according to EG7 I also need to pay another $490, should I pay that altogether or should I pay $550 at this point and $490 later?
To be honest I really am a little bit confused how much I should write for SECTION B of IMM5620. Cry

Pay your Processing Fees with your complete application.  If you qualify and your application is forwarded to your VO, they will ask you to send your Landing Fees in due course.

So right now I only need to fill $550 for myself to CIO, right?

Yes CAD 550 for Processing Fees right now

If you application is accepted and they decide to grant you visa they will ask for Right to permanent Fee (RPRF) of CAD 490 along with medical request

I just read this and suddenly the words "FOR MYSELF" jumped out at me.  Are you filling out immigration forms for YOURSELF ONLY?  You are not going with any other family members?  If others are also going to Canada with you, fees for them would also have to be included.

Hi Pippin, thank you for your kind remind. Yes I am coming only for myself and still single. So I think 550 is correct this time:) All the best! and thanks!
