how about this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgZ5GHDTgCU&feature=relatedDid u hear-"success resuts from efforts", one year in Canada and almost everyone around me got good job. So, I would not subscribe to the storyline that there are no jobs in Canada. Getting a job is by way of competition, even locals face significant amount of barriers to employment, not just immigrants.
I have no suggestion to make to those people who always complain without making significient efforts in right direction. Failure await them on every turn. Cowards look for excuses. What is wrong in driving taxi, truck, factory job etc till one finishes one's bridging program?
Anyone who have zeal to improvise, work hard and stay positive, welcome to Canada and be assured good life is waiting for you.
Yes dear, you are absolutely right. I second you. Since I have landed I have seen many people, who has degress and experience from back home, but don't know what should be done to get job in their field. Some of them send ton's of generic resumes (not even canadian way)to employers, no interview skills, no knowledge of what is needed in Canadian job market. They are just wasting their energy in wrong direction.
I agree that the number of jobs are less and there are plenty applicants behind few jobs. However, if you present yourself by professional(Canadian way) you can win this competition and get through. But remember, winning here is not that much easy and not very difficult either.you shuold plan you moves very carefully even before landing here.
