today finally they sent email for me, that i can come and take my passport after 14 days and after i sent email for them and they replay in it (thay read our email it`s agood thing  ) , i hope there is visa in it, not nothing  ,, sunday i will take it ya rb, enshala 5er,

Looks like you've submitted your application around the same time I did, well I guess I'll have someone to talk too when most of the people in this forum get their PPR.
I understand your frustration, my wife was born in Iraq and had never traveled outside of Iraq, and it still too about 7 months to get her documents in order.  You have to keep in mind though this is a country still in turmoil, with no proper organization and lots and lots of corruption.  Personally i think to get any kind of paper work from there is an achievement in itself; I mean is took me almost a month just to get my marriage certificate because everyone I talked too says something else, or wants some "other" document, and so on.
Anyways I too don't blame Canada for tightening their security there is a lot of fraud happening.  But 4 months for stage 1 is a little excessive, I mean we've all read the conditions that make one an eligible sponsor, so why the long wait ?.

I don't know maybe I'm just ranting, this month marks 1 years since I got married. ( Still in stage 1 )

I still do not know how to use this forum correctly lol but yeah im glad i will have someone to talk to also. I got my first approval not long ago, july 3rd by mail to my house so, i will hope inshallah that you will get yours soon. It feels so good to finally move a step forward. Im still worried for the safety of my husband hes currently residing in syria!! And im hearing that it takes atleast 14 months to hear any further news!! Allah kareem

I thought i heard they were currently working on applications submitted on april 30th or something?! Im not sure but ya rub you will get your approval soon! I know the first year is the hardest! I will pray for everyone who is still waiting

MO JO no longer with us things didn't work well between him and his wife, so they withdraw the application, he waited over 17 months, this long process destroying people life's, i felt so bad when he was telling me that and i didnt share this info until he asks me thats was a month ago, the sad thing is they update his e-case by adding a date for interview and after two days they say his application withdraw.

thats so sad after 17 months    i hope this doesnt happen to the rest of us but long distance relationships dont last for many people

ohhh that's sad and unlucky too; i hope they will both pass easy through this hard time

but it's always like this in life; even in day to day activities: u wait for a bus and after wait and wait u take a taxi and then u just see the bus behind u; we just need to wait until the end
also i have a feeling sometimes these officers might do in purpose; if they r not sure abt the relationship or anything abt the file and they don't think they have sufficient proofs they will just make wait and wait like a test; maybe not really directly in purpose - maybe they will just check or more check or they will put the file aside, come back to it after a few months and then put it aside again; who knows what they r really doing
but at the end yes it is hard time but it is a good foundation for our lives ahead, our marriages it will make us all stronger as a couple
