American in Canada need info...

We just wanna know what our options are and want to find out through here a friend gave me the link to this forum...

Out situation is this his 6 months will be up May 6th we want him to be able to stay longer without having to leave is this possible if so how?

We have heard about getting an extention...

Also he has been accepted to a college in Barrie just havent gotten a visa cause we dont fully understand it.

If he has a visa stamp from entering, he can apply for an extension but if he doesn't, then he can't prove when he entered and then he can't apply to extend but of course he could go to the US and come back.

We do also plan on getting married very soon and starting sponsorship does anyone have info on this also does anyone have what info they need for the visa extension?

so we need a copy of these items
passport info with stamp
copy of his birth certificate
copy of his state ID?
proof of means of support as specified (would this be proof of myself supporting him and if so what would i use as proof?)

His own bank statement and a letter of undertaking from you; bank statement, tax returns from you.
