Hello all,
I'm from Pakistan and I hold a Master degree in Public Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management and have nearly eight years of experience in hospitality industry in different roles ranging from HR officer, Recruitment Manager, Branch Manager (of a chained local restaurant). Is there anybody who can let me know if I qualify to apply under federal skilled worker program? Will I get points for both my qualification as well as skilled work experience? I'd be very thankful for your response.

Thanks, what I want to know is that: Should there be any connection between skilled work experience and qualification? If yes, do you think my qualfication and experience are correlated?

Relevence between Qualification & Occupation vary differently in several NOC.

for example; A MBA/Msc. holder cannot apply as dentist/Physician but a physician/dentist having hospital management/administration experience can apply in management related occupation if any.

In my humble opinion you can apply with this qualification in your desired occupation.
These occupation judge basically on Job description largely.

You are good to go bro, as long as ur JDs match with the job responsibilities of NOC 0631 as per HRSDC.

"Restaurant and food service managers perform some or all of the following duties:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Recruit staff and oversee staff training
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions."

For more info,

Your qualifications are OK as per my opinion.
Cheers,
