Not just infrastructure. Our intelligence do bad things to neighbour countries and then they come and do bad things to our public as a revenge. So then the public suffer. I dont want to die in this politics. India is not a super power so shouldnt interfere in the region.

well.  I just wanted that people who have landed share their experience and all those who are preparing to land how they are preparing.  This included deciding which province to go to, whether going to stay in a motel or paying guest, whether doing it from net or through a travel agency, preparing goods to follow etc etc...   if you want to rent do you have to pay some months rent in advance as security deposit to the owner....hoards of questions.....

The thread started with an excellent topic,could have enriched the knowledge of people who are planning to land in canada but where it has gone .

Although I am from Pakistan but the public of both countries has suffered from the similar situation,be it politics,corruption or police but sanjeev has righlty said that it is really because of our countries that we are able to think of this immigration thing and it is not the Country to be blamed for but the politician,administrators who are reponsible for such situation with loads of frustration.Our countries have given us a lot and we should ackowledge and appreciate that,although e still couldnt do anything ,thats the bitter truth and I personally feel that system of both countries will never change cuzz its virtually impossible to change the mentailty of million of people,all these revolutionary things happen in Films but sorry to say it has not connection whatsoever with the real world or with the system we are attached.

I have attended a Pre-departure seminar here in Karachi,the attendees kept using bad words about the country throughout the seminar,in last speaker with her conclusive remarks said that we should not forget that if we are kicked out of canada then the only place we can go is our motherland,only our homeland will accpet us,so at least we have this backup factor always with us.

First of all " DO NOT HATE YOUR COUNTRY" even if you dont love it.. Because your new country "MIGHT kick you out for any reason" as long as its justified..
You will be left with only one country to go back to " your mother land"

Second.. I am living in US from last 7 years, before that Europe and visited Canada several times..My 2 cents...
1. Life in Canada is much more difficult in Canada, if you dont have a proper JOB.
2. You will not be able to save any money in Canada (30% costlier than US, 50 to 75% costlier than India).
3. Tax rate of above 40% depedning on your salary.
4. You cannot get rich in Canada, if you cannot get rich in India. Population on 1/10th of India. So unless you are entreprenuer and have extra ordinary ability you will not make money.. You will live pay-check to pay-check.... And you will be a middle class guy...   SO DONT DREAM OF RICHNESS..
5. You have to slog your as* and work (same as you do in India), sometime working in areas out of your comfort zone..(IT managers driving Cab, doctors working in construction sites!!)

So folks do not have any illusion of Canada as a Neverland.. But be realistic..
You will have to work hard to make it and you cannot get rich faster unless you work harder..
If you cannot do it in your home country (India, Pakistan, US or wherever you comefrom)...You cannot do it in Canada..

STOP saying bad things about your country .. You are what you are because of your mohterland!!!

If you move to Canada then she will be your motherland.. dont say bad words about her..

I think many things will quickly clarify once some of you guys land in Canada. I have to agree with Ada, I just came back last week from holidays in Canada and you'll be suppriesed where all well qualified emigrants work. So if you think that you're emigrating in order to become reach well good luck, some of us might get lucky haha.

by landing in Canada you are on America land it all depends how you look at it (northern america right ), perhaps Canada is not your place as you'll have deal with Americans on daily bassis.

One more thing, don't discriminate US for their policy, there are good people living there! Should we hate all India people as your country is corupted, that your infrastucture sucks and so on and on, jeez when I read this stuff I wonder how you're going to react once you get to Canada and you realize that your dreams will stay dreams.

You guy's should stop saying bad things about other countries, be it UK, Canada, America or any other country. Why do you want to leave your country anyway? Ask yourselves this question and I am sure you will get the answer and your conscience will eat you? And then ask yourselves , what is the meaning of being an hypocrite!!!
