Guys,  please enlighten me.  I am working on my documents on my own and have terminated the help of my consultant when I got rejected.

Please..please tell me how to compute the points in Experience:

Training Officer - 1.5 years
Office Manager - 4.5 years
Business Development Officer - 3 years
Executive Assistant - 7 years

Total work experience is 15+ years.  Will I still get points if my current experience is not in the 29 NOC list ?  I read in the website that after January 31, 2012, those who applied under 1122 can be assessed based on NOC 2006 or 2011, whichever best applies to the applicant.

My current point is:

Education: 22
Language: 16
Age: 10
Adaptability: 5
Experience: Huh?

(you have to be in 29 demanded occupational NOC ,to be evaluated for cic for PR under fast track)
(If you are in demanded NOC then you will get more than  67 points as per my opinion)
Best luck
warm regards,

Hello everyone,

I really need some help here,

I am preparing the documents for my wife, bcoz she is the Principal Applicant.

Her working experience is 3years as credit analyst. (Does she qualify for the PR)
Done masters in Finance & Accounting ( Do I need to attest her certificates from Ministry of Education of UAE)
What about the medical (shall I do it now)
Results of Ielts. ( do she have to do French Test as well)?
Me & my kid is a dependent applicant so I guess we both have to do medical as well.
Do I have to do ielts as well?
Do I have to send the Fees along with all the documents & when do I have to send them?

Senior members your help will be appreciated.

Hi!
I have a question about reference letters from your employers.. do they have to come from your direct supervisor or can it be written by your colleague?

Thanks!

Hello Everyone,

As you would know i am new to this forum. But as soon i went through all the posts i found them to be very useful and the answers posted by people are a helpful tool for emotional support and motivates you towards your goal.

I wish to apply under Skilled worker (Food and service industry managers or Hotel Managers).Basically under hospitality and tourism.
My queries are:

1. When does the new NOC list release? Is anyone out there planning to apply under same category?

2.I have a good managerial experience in hotel industry, total of around 3.5 years. But in 2 departments though namely Food and Beverage and Front Office (Rooms division).Do you think it might be a problem since i do not have a continuous experience of 2 years in one department. Food and Beverage-19 months. Front office-21 months. All mentioned above is just my managerial experience.

3.I have a IELTS score of 7.5 overall. I have 9 in speaking.I do not remember my other scores, though.

4.I have a good canada lawyer who is helpful but i myself would like to keep a track of case as soon as he files. Now any correspondence from Visa offices is forwarded to lawyers only or lawyers and applicants.

5. What are the things i should take care while filling up my form which would add up my points?

6. I am currently in US on H1b visa .Is there any website or any agents who can help me acquire a job offer in Canada. I have read that the job offers put some weight age on the application. I am married as well and my wife is in US under H1b visa as well.

I would really appreciate your inputs, thoughts, comments, answers.Thanking you in advance for all your valuable time.

Best regards to everyone on earth,
DYS

Hi Friends..

I am also planning to apply for this. Have one query. Per CIC immigration applicatoin fees can be paid through a draft or by credit card. I want to pay by draft. However CIC states that draft should be valid for atleast 5 months from the date we apply our application. However guys from India would know that recently RBI has reduced draft / cheque validity period from 6 months to 3 months. So has anyone thought how to go about it?

Pls provide inputs..

Many thanks..

Hi kas,
Use credit card better option.just inform bank before .so that the amount would be deducted from account without any issue.if u dnt have credit easy to get one on fd .
