I'll be applying as a Nurse this July 2012 and my IELTS result is
L 6.0
W 6.5
R 6.5
S 6.5

TBS 6.5

Is this enough?

Based on the current system i got 70/100 but I know there would be some changes... So do you think I have to take the exam again?

Well, this is a perfect score. Why? Because, with this u'll be at high proficiency in reading, writing and speaking but moderate in listening. So, you'll be getting 14 points in language skills. Good one. I honestly feel, you don't need to write the exam again.

Well, I personally feel that the DD should contain the same as what written in CIC website, this is my apprehension. By the way, credit card is far better option for fee payment.
In which NOC you're applying, coz right now CAP for all the NOC has filled, gonna re-open on Jul 01, 2012.

im planning to apply this coming july under 3012 (nurse).. im on the process of completing the docus. Smiley

yeah, I also feel like that. They up-dated the document check list, credentials assessment is no where there. But, as last words, nothing can be said with full surety. Keep the fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Hello experts,

I'm going to apply under Chef category in July, 2012. I got my IELTS score today, here are the details :

Listening:   6.5
Reading:   8
Writing:   6.5
Speaking:   7
Overall:   7

Seeing at my above score, i just scored less in Listening section (instead of 7.5) and this stands me at total of 14 out of 16 points.

Now my query - Based on my experience (5 years +), age (26), education (bachelor degree) and IELTS score (as above), i would be able to score 65 points in total. I don't have any other option like AEO or marriage (since i'm single) wherein i could get additional points. So what would you suggest should i give IELTS test once again to achieve 67 points in total ? or do you've any other suggestion ?

Please suggest me on this.

this ielts exam is funny. i was sure that i will get 9.0 in reading, but i got only 6.5. I had 7.5 two years ago in reading.

but thank God, i will get 16 points for language, but only worried as i heard that the points for experience will be reduced and  may not make 67.
as per current calculator, i will get 69 points under 1122.

Hi all..My application for 3131 returned due to cap reached last year. Now i want to apply again if the category remains in the list. But what is credential assessment? Is it mandatory to do it before sending the application and how can we do that?
