hello i appeal in March 30,2011.  I got the adr hearing date on Sep 14,2011.   How come you didnot get the date jet.  If they wants you full hearing then it will take more than one year.  don't worry you will get the date soon.  Its better to contact the immigration lawyer.  My immigration lawyer is Robert Blansay.  He is a good lawyer

I was refused under conjugal category, appealed then got married, then faxed my marriage certificated to CBSA and IAD and they allowed ADR because of it.
You will need new medical but they will ask you to do it if your appeal is allowed

Hi Lonely2011,
thanks for the answer.
Our application is very similar to your, we ask you the possibility to find your appeal under the canlii.org database, so we can provide to the IAD a proof of an old approved application with the same our characteristics.
If there is a problem (I know) to share your case on a public forum, can you send us an e-mail with the information to retrieve the info on canlii?

Thank you very much
Have a nice day!

My husband had his interview Feb 13/2012. Denied. Here is what he said about the interview with an Indian woman in the Delhi Embassy. I am 4th generation Canada blonde white lady. Obvious racism involved. I will be going to live with my husband in India and we will appeal the decision.
she the interviewing officcer said my visa is a refusal on the grounds that i only married you to come to canada for i proposed you and you not met my mother  i told them they met online tha was not enought told then u had a busy scgedule and short stay that was not sufficent for her and i told we went to the market looking for jewelery as u dealt in them they said they had no idea it was your bussiness and that u look that u are in love with me but i only married to go to canada well what next the lady's name is
 s. nayar

She also said he would have been better to not marry me and apply under common law. We were married in a Nepalise Hindu Temple in Bangkok, Thailand Feb 17th. How dare we be married before God eh?  Mrs; Gail Rao and proud of it!

Its sad and depressing to hear that the ones who are deceiving gets through and the ones that tell the truth and are genuine never. Forthe past 5 yrs and I cannot be with my husband  and now our marriage is now heading for seperation.

See either way its a depression....................

Can anyone tell me about the appeal process? I married my long time friend to love. We finally were able to get married Feb 17/2011 in Bangkok, Thailand. Refused spouse sponsorship Feb 13th/2012. I still have to get the papers. My husband says they put marriage not geniune? Documented long term engagement since May 2008. What a confusing painful year. Any advice?
