How is it possiible that it took only one months for your nomination?  I applied from within Canada too and it is over 9 months now. Good for you. I don't know. Does it make any difference that I dropped my application at their office? |

Hi there. I got my nomination yesterday and have a few questions to anyone who knows about SINP or application for PR.
1. Can I apply for both temporary work visa & permanent visa simultaneously?
2. I can see that it's faster if it's temporary work visa, is it ok if I file first the temporary work visa and after a few months or if I was given the temp visa (if it comes earlier) I will apply for the permanent visa when I get/land in SK?
Hope anyone who knows can answer my queries. Thank you.

What category did you apply? They have requested for all of my dependent's passport numbers since those were not presnt at the time we lodged our application for SINP.

yes you can apply for both, i actually applied for temporary work permit first, and as soon as i got work permit, i applied for PR, but its upto you how you wanna go for it. |

yes you can apply for both, i actually applied for temporary work permit first, and as soon as i got work permit, i applied for PR, but its upto you how you wanna go for it.
Hi mysteryocean, So I can apply for temporary first and once given a work visa I can apply for the permannent visa then. As long as I submit the PR application before the 6 month deadline after the nomination date. With this I will only pay the lesser application fee which is for the temp permit. On your case mysteryocean, you did get the temporary work visa first and once you're already in Canada you then submit the application for permanent residency? |

I applied for skilled worker sinp with job offer, I already submited the passports of dependents with the applications, there after they didn't ask for any further docs yet.One year has completed. |

@ dlex, wow, that was fast! Where are you here in Sask, Regina or Saskatoon? What is your job position if not too much to ask? And what were the additional documents they requested? My hubby will soon apply for SINP, he's on his 4th month with existing skilled work permit. There's new policy now that requires SINP Confirmation of Job Approval and his employer has not received yet the Username and Password in order to log-in to SINP Employer Site.
@ JCS, oh my, that's too looooonnnnnggggg! I've read your old posts and I could feel how frustrating it is for you.. I pray you get it real soon before your status expires.
