Every one，I applied under family member category in Feb 2011 and recive file no. in Feb 2011, after that not hearing from sinp.
Tell me what happened? and how long will i nominate？

I got additional doc request today from CEC, Canada. Is that good news?
How much time it will take now? I heard this will delay my process by 1 month. Is that true? That's too bad, if true.
I applied in June, 2011.
I didn;t get nomination yet. So, My file is still in Canada only.
As many of you might know already, I applied under SINP-skilled worker category.
Waiting for your responses.

Hello,
I applied for SINP family category in march 2011. I received the letter from SINP in first week of april 2011 with file number. I have not received any other communication from them after that.
I called their office in regina and they said they you can expect nomination by april 2011. They did not provide any other status on my application.
Does any body else have the same time time as me. do they actually take so long to nominate in family category.

I have a March application to, but on my case is skilled worker. Had a request for docs and they contact the employer 3 weeks ago.

Your timeline and category is same as of mine. i also applied in march 2011 and i got application number in march 2011 same month.. i contacted SINP office in september 2011 through email and asked about my case.. i got reply from visa officer (not from IVA) that my application is still in process and no further documents are needed.. now its 2 months passed still no nomination yet... i also got an email from SINP office (autogenerated).. Timeline were mentioned in it as follow Family Class : 8 - 10 months Skilled worker : 5 - 6 months student & others: 3 - 4 months Sinp is the only province processing application fast. we will inshaALLAH get nomination by the end of next month. To Chrisemo:If SINP has called your Employer and everything went right you will get nomination by 1 - 1.5 months after they called employer.. ask Mysteryocean for more information. this might help.. pray for everyone... Dear, Sinp has very efficient process and developing day by day. you can get Procedural Guidelines from their website that is very clear and conceptual. the timeline you are showing is for the case special timeline.. they might be processing a family application received by Oct 2010 but it could be delayed applications.. Otherwise i know few ppl who got nomination within the time given by Sinp.
