This is the third time my application is getting rejected.

June-2009 : The reason mentioned was that " The ministry .. blah blah ... , though your experience is one as per the ministry's defined set of occupations, I fear that your experiences does not meet up to the requirements of the job and I am not convinced with your experience." I did put in for the Computer Project Manager code which is there in the ministries list of acceptable applicants.

Jan-2009 : The reason was that online payment is not accepted for your application type.

Jan-2008 : The application was rejected because IELTS exam was not given, though I had given enough proof that I had done all my education in English. This was for the old process and at that time the new norms were not in place.

Is it possible for all people with successful applications put in what they have written in the experience. Was there any modification done so that it suits the canadian requirement?

*********************************************

In the experience I had put the following Information
From : July 2003 to Feb-2009
Occupation : Computer Project Manager
NOC : 0213
Years of Experience : 4 Years or more
Main Duties
             Project Management
             System Design
             Business Analysis
             Information analysis

*********************************************

which nationality are you from? INDIA
which Visa office did you opt for? 1-Central Intake, Nova Scotia, 2 times to Buffalo
what is your mother tongue? - English
In the latest rejection, did the rejection happen at local Visa Office or CIC, NS level? - Rejection happened at the Central Intake Nova Scotia.

discuss with W/W/I/C/S or A/X/I/S to check what you might have done wrong. you may also post your experience details mentioned on schedule 3 on this forum. senior members will explain what might have gone wrong

Jan-2009 : The reason was that online payment is not accepted for your application type.
this is a fact. you shoul have read the manual befor making the payment

Jan-2008 : The application was rejected because IELTS exam was not given, though I had given enough proof that I had done all my education in English. This was for the old process and at that time the new norms were not in place.
being from a non-english speaking country, they expect you to give EILTS. it is clear in the manual that it is "strongly recommended"

Dear Pal
Sorry to hear the rejection. It is really hard to believe that you just needed one point to qualify. If your job falls in the 38 category you can re-apply if it does not that explore PNP. Wish you all the best.

Which is your visa office? What I have read on the fourm in case of successful case CHC returns all originals with visas, but have not idea if otherwise. Write to them that you will want all the original documents back.

Please could you clarify your timelines and check the years you have mentioned are correct....
1)"I have applied under simplied application process in april 2008"
2)"update letter jan 2008"
3)"submitted all documents in may 2009 ".
4) "rejection letter received in june 2009"

I got a typed mail with a mention of all the sorry reason within 45 days.

Then after a month they refunded my fees.

I am wondering if I can reapply with more elaboration on my NOC and experience details.

You can always apply but this is what you should consider. How many years of work experience do you have in IT. If you have say 20 years experience and do those duties, you probably will get PR. If you have say 2 years of experience and do those duties, they probably will reject you. I gave extreme numbers here but you get my point.

Have you looked at CSQ and PNP?

Hi Dude -
CIC/CHC sends back all the original docs, you should get.

On other hand you can also visit your IELTS test center and request them to issue a fresh copy of IELTS score card.

I gave my exam in US and when went to collect the IELTS score card, I asked them to issue me two copies which they did, one I have sent to CIC buffalo and other one is with me.

Good luck for your second chance.

Thanks PV.  I hope they will send the original documents soon.  I have been waiting for 8 weeks now...no refund nor original documents.
