Hi All Pakistanis!

Please sign this petition. If you want to propose any changes you are more than welcome. Thanks

http://www.petitiononline.com/fasttrak/petition.html

It would be appreciated if you mention your time line in comments, I mean how long have you been waiting. You can see other people's comments as a reference.

We have seen in the last 8-10 months that not a single Pakistani got  visa or Medical request. If you look at Indian applicants or other nationalities who applied through CHC London they keep getting visas.

I think we all should report this to Minister Jason kenny or do some other means otherwise we may be waiting for whole life.

Thanks

I cant sign this subject.
I received AOR in Aug 2010  and till now only 6 months have elapsed.
They mentioned processing times of 8 to 12 months in the AOR so may be I have to wait 2-3 months more.

Thats most of the Pakistanis are thinking
But no problem guys sign it with your first name.
To put up a strong case we need more people to sign here.

dear you are a 2009 applicant. the whole process as per fast track should take 8 to 12 months means you should already have got your PRR by aug 2010 but we are in february 2011.

you are mistaken here dear. you are calculating your time from your 2nd AOR. you should calculate total time since you applied. its their mistake that they issued you 2nd aor so late.

mean why we are signing this petition just because of this delay .

its ok if you don't wana sign but you are mistaken

thanks

First of all, I am not a Pakistani and not eligible to sign this.

A friendly advice, hope you guys won't mind un-invited guest here,

you should consider the content of the letter again,

"
We are taking this opportunity to write to you regarding the long tiring wait that has been faced by many Pakistani applicants for a long time. Sir, we have applied for FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) program long ago, some of us even have applied more than 2 years ago and till to date there is no decision on our applications. The normal time to process the cases in FSW program is 8-12 months but in ours case it has taken more than 2 years without any outcome. Sir, if you compare Pakistani applicants with any other nationality you would observe that its only us that have been singled out. The reasons given for these delays are so called lengthy security / back ground checks.

Sir, many of us have sacrificed other good career options just in favour of Canada as we think your great country Canada is the best place in the world to go and settle down. Our family lives have been affected badly and many of us are now suffering from depression and anxiety but this long wait is not coming to end.

We therefore request your highness to please look into the matter and give instructions to visa offices to start issuing visas to Pakistani applicants.

We will highly appreciate your co-operation and consideration.

Hope to hear from you soon and thanking you in anticipation.
"

So that concerned person can take matter into serious consideration, you should give the facts and not statement(s) e.g.
1. The normal time to process the cases in FSW program is 8-12 months but in ours case it has taken more than 2 years without any outcome.
-I remember that for Buffalo, USA processing time is 9-17 months, and many applicants having not Pakistani nationality have passed this period & still waiting for completion, check out trackitt.com.

2. if you compare Pakistani applicants with any other nationality you would observe that its only us that have been singled out. The reasons given for these delays are so called lengthy security / back ground checks.
-Fact you should add - how many of you have already done medical and waiting for security clearance.

3.many of us have sacrificed other good career options just in favour of Canada as we think your great country Canada is the best place in the world to go and settle down. Our family lives have been affected badly and many of us are now suffering from depression and anxiety but this long wait is not coming to end.
(Most of us including me is not considering new opportunities for similar reason) But this can not be given as a valid reason, it's applicant's own choice if one wants to file or continue with CI.

4. Over all content of letter looks like mercy petition, instead of strong case. I am not an expert but I believe information written in the letter should be based on statistic & legally correct. New Delhi VO might be faster but Indians who have applied from Buffalo or London are facing long waiting period, so adding point for Nationality should have solid base.

My intension is not to criticize your action or to demoralize you guys from taking this step; instead, wanted to present week links of this letter so that u can add solid info and concerned dept/person can take it seriously. Again, I am not an expert but this is personal view, and if you don't like, just ignore, I would be open to delete it if anyone has objection(s).

Good Luck.

Hi there!

Thank you very much for taking the time to read the letter and provide valued feedback.

You are correct this is a mercy petition. One important thing, this is a formal letter and the main points concentrating are how anxious we are to get to canda, sacrifices made by us and how frustrated we are now.

You are correct that some buffalo applicants are still waiting but in case of Pakistanis not a single one got visa finally. Some have done medicals but still waiting.

Lastly dear I drafted this letter and I asked many times for other people's feed back but no suggestions. What better a single person can make this letter. If this is a joint compaign then other people also should add to it but no body so far.

You are first the person to comment on it. Any ways I will look at what you said.

Thank you once again for your kind contribution.

With Regards,

With Regards,

Pitta,

1. Since I am not legal expert, I can not comment if group mercy petition would be helpful or not. I rememberer few cases, where teacher NOC applicants had less IELTS score and got advised to take IELTES again even though they had enough points & bank balance. But VO were strict and not ready to consider leniency.
2. Second put your-self into Minister's (or minister's office) shoe, now if you get such application, from where you would start, would you take it seriously, then on what bases, Mercy petition - ?
3. I checked signing button, there is no option to give application file no.
4. how would you (minister's office) confirm, would you ask VO to give statistics of all Pakistani applications (on what bases you would initiate this step, I meant for official decision one need to add legal comments while issuing order/memo).

Reality of this world is there is no free lunch, (as per my view) you have only one option, if you present your case with solid legal info.
Every movement starts with single person, and Almighty does favor to its children, so you may get favorable result for such action, work harder on this.

friend as you are digging it deep so i need to tell you more.

i start from your point

(4)

i) there is no need to provide file numbers and even if we provide no body has the time to check the file numbers of each applicant.

ii) it is very hard for one individual to collect data of every body and put in one email because of confedentiality.

iii) that's how this online petition system work. if you check  there is already one signed petition in action prepared for damascus office by some consultant and is working fine.

1) you said about teacher's noc. that was a totally  different case and no body even signed a petition for that.

Lastly dear i know we might not get 100% result but we may get 30% result and i will keep sending this petition not once but many times as soon as i get enough singnatures.

In any case there is nothing to loose and no harm. its a safe game.

we can get some thing but can't loose any thing.

thanks

The subject is perfect. No need to change anything.
