At this moment,  E-CAS status should not be taken as 100% sure,  they are updating software and making changes so better to wait a while.  Youre IN - PROCESS could be changed later to the real status.  Wait a while.

How you get to know that they are updating software.

And how long we need to wait for real status.

Noone knows--it's in their hand! There's no way to know it either until it actually starts happening.

I'm in...Went into process on February 1st; however, even if lots of applicants had errors on their ECAS, I must say that when I click on my status it does not show medical results received or any other stuff. I checked today and it is still In Process. Good luck to everyone.

Hi, I sent an email to buffalo containing an address change request. I got a reply from buffalo, and a part of the message is

Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS)  does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo.
Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Buffalo.

So, ecas is not perfect and have errors, but I don't know who its updated. Buffalo uses a different software.

My ecas changed to in process on 1st of Feb. Good luck

If Buffalo use different software then we will not have any idea where we are standing.

What is our status on application?Huh?

this means we must need to call them for status because case specific inquiry they are not giving any information, they just send general reply to all.

What do you think guys.....

Is anybody have better idea how to track our application at Buffalo.

So this means that our cases are not in process? I don't understand. If Buffalo uses another system why we can't access it. This is unbelievable.

Hi All,

I just want to share information.....

My friend send his application to Buffalo on 20 July, 2010.

He got Medical along with File No.

He got Medical and file no in same mail last week Thursday...

So it seems Buffalo office is working now.

And his e-cas shows IN PROCESS only..

So Don't lose hope......God is there and will bless us.

So, your friend Spatel didn't get the AOR from Buffalo and it showed in process? And he got the AOR together with the medical request? That is good-that means that Buffalo didn't do any error when it changed our ECAS into process.
