guys, a lot of students seem to be stuck at the "passport received at CHC singapore" after medical call ..... people before and after them have gotten their VISA (me included) and they are nearing a critical date , later than that, they'll have to cancel their plane tickets .... what could be the reason behind this? happened to a friend of mine, who submitted applications and medicals a week before me, now its 1 week AFTER i've received mine but his is still stuck at the"passport received" phase ....what can he do? I mean i've already told him to contact CHC singapore and VFS for queries

That's true. I know three peoples who resubmitted their passport on 11th  July but didn't get any response yet. Why CHC Singapore is taking so much time I have no idea.

Anyone is going to Quebec? My class is scheduled to start on 4th September. But, Quebec election will be held on 4th, so it's a government holiday. And, 3rd September is also a government holiday. So, I think class will start on 5th.

i know about the first 3 bt in proof of funds wht wht can i show ? i will be taking some cash and the print outs of my uni account showing all payments of the semester bt will this be sufficient or will i also require a notarized document showing all assets account value here. As for visa office they say nothing

Yeap, I also think that VFS will notify us about our visa decision within Sunday or Monday, Inshallah. Lets, hope for the best now. May almighty Allah fulfill our wishes. And please do inform us about your visa decision as soon as you receive it. Good luck.

Me and my friend got our medical calls on the 15, did our medicals from Dr Lina and submitted passport on the 16. The decision had actually arrived at dhaka vfs on the 12th but took three days to get to ctg vfs and that really annoyed us. However Insha Allah all will be ok now, hope to get the decision soon.

I came here with only $1,000 along with sponsor's bank statements. CBSA didn't ask me to show POF but they asked me to show offer letter and educational certificates. Best of luck.

CHC singapore has YET not released some passports of some friends of mine who applied 1/2 weeks before me .... what can i suggest them? cancelling tickets?transferring admission? any ideas why is this happening?
