Bro, No need to worry, Written explanation is kind of affidavit, You can make an affidavit and use it as a written explanation cause in it you will declare everything like your Sponsor(s) annunal income, are they are tax paid citizen or not, What are the income source, Bank balances, Properties, Notarized document will make the case stronger and do the same job .

U just show ur parents salary certificates, business ownership docs etc.

You can e-mail to the singapore consulate providing your pin-number/Passport number/Date of Birth/Nationality

Check their website for more information.

But they don't recommend to mail them unless it takes more then 30 working days (Average processing time on the SG embassy) . You can also send e-mail to VFS or go there in person.

Hm ok. I ll give the vfs helpline a call. It still shows file processing since 28 may.

I know someone who got medical call when his tracker still mentioned "Under processing" He didn't even get an e-mail from VFS. that means VFS don't update their server right way. He just got a call to receive his passport from VFS.

Hey Akib - You can tr to call VFS, but it wont't help at all. Singapore office will not give you any clue unless it passed 30 business days which I dont think has happened yet in your case. So wait and hope for the best.

Hi everone  

today I have submitted my application in vfs dhaka at around 3 pm and after I reached home at around 4.30pm I have checked the status using vfs application tracker,it was written that 'vfs dhaka has received the application on 13/06/2012'.
Just few minutes back I checked the status again it says 'Passport dispatched from OC TO High Commission of Canada, Singapore, , Pin:xxxxxx, Tel: on 13/06/2012.Transit time might require 2/3 days.'

Is this normal ?

Well in any case I'm glad that sparknotes made it this far. And to the ones who still haven't gotten their medical call, don't sweat it. If you're lucky, you'll receive it within 6 working days insha Allah. A friend of mine got his medical call a few days back and he said it took him 6 days too. So the VOs are still lenient I'd say. But don't worry if it takes over 2 weeks, because it's only natural for the call to come that late as mentioned on their site. I submitted mine around mid-July and Alhamdulillah I got my passport stamped by 8th August. So chillax and go easy on yourself. If your intentions are all good, you won't be disappointed . Sorry for not having calmed you guys earlier. Had my hands full on wedding preparations. haha

P.s. It's RIDZ not RIDS
