Hi
I applied from Canada.
FSW3: One year in Canada as an International Student

My Timeline:
Doc sent to CIO: Sep 2, 2009
AOR from CIO:Nov 2, 2009
Sent full doc to Buffalo on 25 Nov 2009.
AOR from Buffalo: 30 Dec 2009.
Status changed from 'Received' to 'In Process' on May 24, 2010.
It says 'Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 21'
My file has not been transferred to another VISA office. So processing at Buffalo.

Is there anyone whose file was processed at Buffalo?
Want to know how long does it take from STATUS change( received to in process) in ECAS to MEDICAL request?

Hi jnathan & rony.

Now regarding the marriage certificate, do I have to submit only the Certificate or both the Certificate and Nikah Nama.

If both r required, do I have to affidavit and certify the English version of the Nikah Nama and what is the procedure it.

Thank you again for keeping the thread alive.

Do anybody know whether it is sure or not?

I've heard it from a consultant.

Right now skilled worker applications are expected to take at least 6 years to process out of Singapore. That office has over 22,000 applications in that category but only accepts about 3800 a year. In some countries, like Pakistan, applicants can expect to wait 35 years!!

If what you said is true than how come the people are getting visa within 8 to 10 months? I know personally two people getting visa within that time period.

People are saying that every one month creating equal to 3 months of backlog in Singapore.
Its not untrue that huge number of Full docs are now in CHC Singapore.
When people sent their full docs there later last year, say August-December, they got their medicals just after 2-3 months, now this timeframe has gone to 5-6 months.

But its understandable that FSW list of 38 is getting the priority now but not to mention that not without fully ommitting the old applicants.

Hi, please help me with this issue. During notary do I need to get the notary to write down that "I CERTIFY THAT THIS IS A TRUE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL" and then the name of the original doc, or it is enough only to get the seal and sign. Seniors please help.

hello rubaiaat!
the canadaian immigration will  nominate u 25 points for ur educational background if u have 17 years of education. i mean primary level:05 high school level:05 secondary leve:02 years bachelors {4] years :04 years  and a masters :01 year thats summed up 17 years of education.  they will award you 25 points on that ground. but  as u said two bachelors degree at the same time  implies that any student can take two bachelor\ degree but they will not be awarded double points for these two degree at the same time. suppose , i did 2 years bachelors [pass course] and a BA[Hons], in that case they will only consider  one of the two degrees. this is perhaps very true for bangladeshi candidates.

you must have at least 1 year full time experience  in the last 10 years... which means that it is not necessary or mandatory that u must be in the position continiously. YOU MAY QUIT THE JOB OR YOU MAY GO ON A VACCATION . it is not their concern, the fact is that you worked in that position for those period, so u can apply without any hesitation. and read the literature at www.cic.gc.ca/english  ie: WHO CAN APPLY?

 dear, carry on ..
 best of luck
