Since, most post-June cases are being decided now within 1 year, so, my advice is to continue FDR a/c for that tenure i,e up to getting Visa. In normal savings account, one can deposit-withdraw amount frequent basis. But, if someone shows a big amount in savings a/c for 2/3 months only, it becomes difficult to understand a Visa Officer that the amount is not borrowed from someone. No rule is mentioned in anywere regading this issue so far. It depends on applicant's personal choosing. But Visa Officer considers this issue as vital factor. It depends Visa Officer to Visa Officer also.
So, it's my personal advise only,not anything in black and white.
