Hi all,

I got GCMS notes yesterday , the last time visa officer worked on my file was 01/08/11, it says preparation review completed , IELTS and Age points given verified, educational and experience letter appears genuine, FOSS check done.

I would appreciate your comments, if the visa officer mentioned that the documents appear genuine then there is still a chance for employment verification.

NOW MY QUESTION IS, WHAT IS GCMS (GLOBAL CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM), HOW CAN I GET ACCESS TO IT, AND HOW CAN I SEE MY GCMS STATUS / REPORT?

Global Case Management System (GCMS)

The Global Case Management System (GCMS) is a multi-year program that, once fully deployed, will replace several of the business systems of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) with an integrated, case management-based set of applications and infrastructure components that will support CIC's and the CBSA's client operations.

The Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) on GCMS was submitted to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) in February 2004. As the project is ongoing, it was agreed by the OPC that a new PIA would be required only if there was a major change in the functionality of GCMS. The GCMS project would, however, provide periodic updates to the OPC throughout the life of the project.

GCMS tracks the type of personal information required to process citizenship and immigration clients. The type of personal information collected includes, but is not limited to, client identification (i.e., family name and given names, gender, date of birth, country of birth, etc.), address information and history, educational information, criminality, and medical and travel history.

GCMS provides a level of protection that reflects CIC's need for availability and integrity, Government of Canada requirements for protected B level information, and the requirements of the Privacy Act and associated Treasury Board policies.

Privacy risks have been identified as part of this assessment and are being addressed.

Its fine but not necessarily u maintain this amount years after years. You can invest anywhere else or can encash and transact regularly via your savings account(s).

29 Oct Saturday, so 30 Oct should be the date. Amio dite chacchilam oi date a, but Oi din amar exact 14 days hoy. What to do? Bolento? R Dr. Hasib vai ki bole ei bepare? 14 diner din ki joma diya jabe?

ANY SECURITY CHECK AFTER PPR?

Dear ALL,

Hope you are all fine.

At last, I got my medical and PPR on 5th October. I have completed my medical on 15th  of this month. At this stage, are there any further security check/background checks though PPR was ordered by Singapore VO?

After examining the paper documents they have sent, what I can apprehend the steps ahead of me is, first I have to send my passport along with other doc (permanent resident fees CAD$490, five copies immigration sized photos, A4 sized envelope with self address, Bank statements) to Canadian High Commission at Baridhara, Dhaka. They will send the doc to Singapore VO to finalize the case. If everything goes okay, they will stamp visa and return it back to CHC in Dhaka.

CHC in Dhaka then will send me a letter to receive the passport and COPR from their Office.

Please let me if there is any mistake in my understanding.
