agreed..got my visa without submitting my SSC certificate/marksheet.
However, i think it's wise for all new(july 2011) applicants to submit SSC certificate+ marksheet

I completely agree with Dr. Hasib.
If I were you, I would submit all my SSC, HSC and Univ certificates and mark-sheets in sealed envelops by my educational institutes... I would also ask them to do attestation before they put the papers in the envelops..

I sent full docs in July 2010 (though I sent docs for my spouse recently because I've married recently). Already 15 months gone after I sent docs!!! Can I expect MR soon, Hasib bhai?

Please be informed that to claim 25 points out of 25 in Education, you must have at least 17 years education with Masters Degree. If you have 17 years education with only 1 Bachelor Degree, you can claim only 20 points.

All transcripts must be sealed in envelop by the university/institute authority.

Just to notify one thing, please correct if I am wrong. I did not see anywhere in the forms where they asked for secondary certificates (pls check if any changes in the new forms). As per the old forms, all they asked for are post-secondary documents. That means University degrees or vocational certificates and transcripts. You can only get into universities when you finish 10 years of secondary education. So, if you don't provide SSC and HSC answer scripts, it is perfectly all right. In my case I did so and already have MR. However, giving additional docs will not hamper.

In the new check list they have not explicitly asked for secondary certificates. But in the last clause they have said "You must include evidence of both the total number of years of education along with evidence that the program(s) were completed." So I am guessing that means I need to submit all certificates and transcripts. But it is almost impossible to get another original set of transcripts from "Dhaka Board" so it would have to be certified copies and I also doubt if I would find anyone from the board to even attest it. So it has to be notarized. BUET also I think will not provide another original but will attest a copy and will put it in a sealed envelope. Again it does not say in the current checklist that the transcripts have to be in a sealed envelope! But I will better be safe than sorry.

Congratulations on ur sucess...I got my passport with beautiful looking maple leaf visa yesterday.I got some confusion regarding my landing procedure.I am planning to settle in calagary. My flight will be under the route-

Dhaka-Istanbul-Toronto-calgary. In this regrad, I am confused where to do landing formalities-toronto or calgary?

I would really appreciate your advices and thoughts in this regard.

Dear Bro,

In my application I filled up the form as follows :

1. Elementary / Primary School : 5 Years
2. Secondary / High School : 7 years
3. University / College : 6 Years [My Graduation is of 3 Years, and Masters Degree (MCA) is of 3 Years]

Yes, I collected and submitted all the transcripts from University in University Sealed Envelop, both for me and my spouse.

In reply to your another query of having Visas of Yemen and other countries, if you stayed for more than 6 Months, you have to collect PCC from that country.

I have a question for you. Did you not fill up the item # 15 in page # 3 of Schedule # 1 Form and disclose your presence in those countries?
If yes, do not worry.
