Canada is currently struggling to deal with a backlog of immigration applications.
The backlog of immigration applications is hurting Canada's reputation as a top immigration destination for skilled migrants. In some cases people are choosing Australia as an alternative immigration destination.
Immigration Minister Jason Kenney said that the situation was a "huge problem". He has spoken frequently about the need to streamline the application process and get the backlog under control.

there is nothing u can do other than waiting. it will take time to get the correct status on ecas since u r a pre june applicant(not in priority). according to CIC, current processing time of SGVO for pre june applicants is 16 months (processing time starts from the date of complete application received by SGVO). since you got 2nd AOR in Dec 2010, i guess you will need to wait till april 2012 to get some good news
Hasib bhai, I have come back from a 9 days' leave. How is everything? Its very difficult to predict about pre June applicants. I sent my full docs in very last of July i.e August 2010. Still I am In Process with RBVO details. Already 14 months+ gone. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. Processing times are subject to change. |

Dear Hasib Bhai
You are proved yourself as a good pradictor about canada immigration. There are two catagory of backlog in canada immigration application. One is pre-february 2008 and another is pre-june 2010. It is seen that some pre-june application are processing now but no pre- february application are processing. So, can we conclude that pre-february application will be process only after complition of pre-june backlog application? please, give your oppinion.
