Problem is that , Bangladesh has started Machine Readale Passport.Previous applicants of government service appplied with a private passport , they could have two passport at a time. But now it is not possible . Its not possible to hide anything. MRP has thumb impression,biometric data.Ok, now if i take a regular passport, here it will be mentioned that i am a government employee. Now if i get immmigration visa , what will happen?

I have to take a GO (Governemnt Order ) to leave Bangladesh. BD governement will never permit civil servants to take immigration . Then i have to show another reason to leave Bangladesh such as tourism. Now during my leave from Bagladesh i have to show the GO to immigraton officers . Will they permit me to leave as there are  differences between GO and type of visa?
I need help from seniors in this regard.

 dont worry.
 if you are a govt  personnel and hold a government passport, the it will  be an impossible to leave the country where immigration authority at bangladesh air port cheeks the passport. and if it is found in written in your passport that you are a service man, next they must ask you to show the GO. the result is that you will be in a severe problem which may create many queries. even you  could be, i hope it not to be, filed in a case, put in prison, or could be alleged  {all these are true for the corrupted people in this country]that you are leaving the country without informing the govt! finally it might be asumed that you must have a anti- govt thinking. so dont think this way and  do not push yourself in a drastic situation.
my suggestion to you,  leave the govt passport, do not show a photocopy  and do not mention your official status while applying for a new passport ,  use only a regular passport mentionaing you r doing a private job. and with this , you must collect the police clearence certificate as the police authority will verify you that you are a general people other than a govt official. whereas if police find you as a govt professional, they never issue a police clearence certificate. the may inform the govt. too. so it would be difficult  for you if you use govt. passport.
 but it is upto  you if u manage the police but at immigration there might be  some problems. so i do not , i will never encourage you to jump in the fire , like a soft butter-fly that has a sweet dream for future!

i want to assure you that the canadian immigration authority will not accept a govt passport rather they want a regular passport which is clearly instructed in  "visa  office specific forms"
 in fact, i am telling you of a  fact for a class -one govt. official case.
i would not like to hurt you. and i do believe that i must  have a desperate expression to upload a truth before you . truth is truth. yes, if you are not convinced with me, take a second thought.

if you score well beyond 67, say 73, 74 above then any less IELTS score wont hamper CIC's total desired score of 67. I hope you are good in English to score over 6.5 or 7.0.

I am also in same boat apply in June 2007 but not yet get document request letter. The truth is CHC Singapore not yet start document request letter for 2007.  So don't worry you will get a response from them but you need to patient in this long journey.

Regarding the Passport Issue, I had a similar situation. And it will create a problem when you travel. It's my suggestion please apply for a new passport and requested the passport authority to put a previous passport reference seal in your new one.

I was applied on June 2007 and in March 2009 I also recived same kind of letter indicating 60 days for withdraw option . I was remain silent . My time line was over and donot know what will be the next step "waiting ". Could you please make a clear your statement :
My friend informed that his colleague also received such letter and he replied positively and after sending his letter, he received another letter after six months for submission of all final documents.[/font]

You do not need to worry because you are not in the new system. So it will not making any kind of problem.
Regarding my application, I did not apply for two times, i did it in 2007 and receive a letter in 2009 March.

Dear Saimonblue - what I have learnt is that immigration officer is comfortable with bank statements because it shows some length of time during which you have possession of the cash. I guess longer the better. 6 months should do. Then again I have seen people showing lesser period or only by bank certificate showing closing balance on a specific date. Later group always made some kind of plan in order to face question like "where did you suddenly get these fund? You must have borrowed from someone to show the amount".

I know I am not giving you a straight answer, but the main thing is the immigration officer has to be convinced that the fund is in your possession. I wonder sometime, the immigration officer opens up file after having a fight at home then what would be his attitude in interpreting a file.

I am new in this forum. We have applied in end of August 2009 & submit full doc to Singapore on 03/02/2010 & they have received on 9th/02/2010.
I have checked my E case status & it showing Received by Visa office. How long it will be in this stage?

Also I have came to know from someone that, now a day Singapore visa office need 7-8 month after they got the full doc. I am not sure it is ture or not but I want to know from all of you.... Do you have any information on this........
