Being a government employee, the best way to resign prior going Canda to have entry. In this backdrop, at the BD airport, just show your resignation acceptance letter to the immigrtion officer albeit mentioning in your passport your occupation is Govt service. So to say, doing a govt job and my ex colleague did the same thing what i have mentioned just now.

shofiul said the right thing. One of my relatives also worked for BD govt Communication & Information Ministry as assst Secretary, he got full family US migration and took regular leave which University teachers or others do, in my relative's case, he was made OSD for an unknwn reason which he didnt tell me. May be it was something dangerous he did which he did intentionally so that BD govt would make him OSD and thru that he could leave Bangladesh.
in BD everything is possible, if you have $$$$ and jack, you are the king there, no matter how low qualified you could be.

Thank u all for helping me.
I have heard new MRPs of Bangladesh doesnt include profession category in it. Although to quit job is the best thing, i think i should consider other alternatives too.
Lets see what happens when the MRPs shows its face at mid may .

If u doesn't wish to quit ur BD valuable (!!!!) job, just compose ur resignation letter by yourself so that it look like original and show stupid BD immigration officer.

Kartik,
U may take refund before the 120 days end. Just write them a letter requesting the withdrawal of application and refund of money. Principal applicant should sign in that ( as original). You should send it as soon as possible.
You will get the full refund as u sent . But they will send u a check in ur mail address(registered post). If u deposit it in Bank the kind banking authority will deduct some as commission.......!!

Dear All,
Lot of thanks to Sohel bhai for your initiative. I hope this initiative will open the door to Bangladeshi applicants to share, disscusse and fulfil information gaps. As an applicant of Federal Skilled Worker, I like this forum very much.
I applied at Janury 25, 2008 in Singapore Visa Office. I received aknowledgment but I did not receive call to send final documents (I applied in simplyfied application form without any evidance). Can I get any update from my brothers/sisters of this Forum?
I want to know another information which is related to Passport Change. Real fact is main page (photograph page) of my Passport is attached with two pages due to loose gum. I separated both the pages but in some places very litely damaged (photo & information is Ok); I don't know it will create problem during immigration or not? If I change existing passport with new Machin Readable Passport; Is there any problem doing so?
Best wishes for all.
MRIslam
Dear Robi Shafi I am also in same boat apply in June 2007 but not yet get document request letter. The truth is CHC Singapore not yet start document request letter for 2007. So don't worry you will get a response from them but you need to patient in this long journey. Regarding the Passport Issue, I had a similar situation. And it will create a problem when you travel. It's my suggestion please apply for a new passport and requested the passport authority to put a previous passport reference seal in your new one. Rafiq Azad

You have to write a letter to CIC giving your file reference number for change of address. Look through online file status check whether they have changed the address. If it is not done withinn 15 days you can send a case specific email asking for change of the address.
Thanks for the reply. I've sent an email on 21-04-10 but still ecase showing previous address. Should I sent hard copy?
