The below message is FYKI shared by Lubob in the thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/updated-topics/-t70979.0.html;topicseenHalf of FSW Applications are Returned Randy Orr was pleased to announce on Friday, September 16th, to CAPIC that the CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia received 34,000 applications in the last fiscal year and returned 17,000 because one of his five anonymous gnomes, after spending 1.6 hours on average per file, succeeded in finding something amiss, thereby allowing him/her to bounce the application. Because CIC takes two months before "reviewing" a file and returns FSW applications by snail mail, this policy of bouncing as many applications as possible means that many qualified applicants will find the cap reached even before their bounced application reaches them. Examples of reasons these anonymous gnomes used to bounce applications are: the level of completed education was not stated for the applicant's three- and five-year-olds; and the category ticked was "family", as opposed to "economic". So, when you apply, (a) do not make even the pettiest of mistakes and (b) provide a Canadian mailing address so that it does not take many more months before your application reaches you. Any victim of such maliciousness who, as a result, was unable to be processed because the quota had been filed before the application could be resubmitted should consider seeking the Federal Court's intervention. No act of Parliament authorizes churning applications in order to assure that there is always another file to peer at for 1.6 hours and, thus, to avoid being laid off owing to lack of work.

I wanted to share my experience with the 'address disappearance' on ecas for the benefit of others.
Initial Application: Nov.30.2009 (Pre-June2010) From: Bangladesh VO: Singapore File transfer to VO: Feb.2010 File started processing: Nov.30.2010 Current ECAS status: 'In process'
On Sep.13.2011, my address disappeared from ECAS. Today, on Sep.19.11 I received Med Req, RPRF Req, Personal Net Worth Statement Req which was dated Sep.14.11
This in my view means: 'Whenever' our address disappears on ECAS, there is a 'very good' chance that our case is going to move ahead (i.e. if we are 'in process' then we move onto 'MED REQ' and if we are on 'med rcvd' then we may just move to Passport req or visa issue)
Hope this sheds light on all the people like me who have been /are waiting eagerly without any specific idea as to where things are going or what to expect next.
I like to thank QORAX for the support and advice, specially about CAIPS, from which I got a clear picture about my case. I had no idea about CAIPS (the way we find out our file status at the VO) until I read QORAX posts and answers to my inquiries.
Therefore, ALLAH is kind and will show us light, if we BELIEVE! Have Faith.

Hi Rahat bhai, Could you please share us the most economic and accurate way of applying caips? Does it make delay of our processing? As I have no International credit card, how can one pay on behalf of me? Do I need to share my file info with the person paying on behalf of me?

hello,
According to the EG7 booklet (Page 20): Translation of documents Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by: • the English or French translation; and • an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and • a certified copy of the document.
Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translations by family members are not acceptable.
So, YES, you should submit that affidavit. You should follow all CIC instruction, which will increase that chance of your application to get into process quickly.
Well researched!+14uimu

Today my address has been disappeared from e-cas status. Any idea.
Couple of weeks back, I have sent document for inclusion of my spouse with bank draft. Still I did not receive acknowledgement receipt from CHC Singapore.
I am 2007 applicant.
