if youre a BD citizen and staying in BD then you have to apply to Singapore, only USA living pplz can apply thru Buffalo, The total time is no more than a year now. I havent heard anyone needed more time applying from Singapore than in Buffalo.

Is that so quick now?. I didn't know. Are you sure ?
I heard sometimes Singapore office may not like to interview an applicant.
Those applicants get visa directly from Dhaka.
Is that true? If yes, what are the factors for this luck ?

Yea, I am sure, 1 yr at best, sometimes less if you send additional papers well ahead of the deadline.
What do you specifically want to know?

Later added:

yes, the additional docs to be sent later if your initial app is accepted by CIO.

Later added :

Please download and read the VIsa office spec requirements for singapore office.

Thanks. I do not have any other question for now. But can you please elaborate what additional documents can be sent well ahead of deadline ?
Do you mean the docs I will have to send to visa office (Singapore) ?

Dear all,
i have a great problem...i have got opportunity to do my Master degree to UK by grant of my employer. Session is from September.
On the other hand i have also applied to CIO,Sydney at 29th March,2010. Wish will have first letter at last of May or first of June. SO before my departure i can submit second letter to my local visa office. Then go for 1 year course to UK.

Does it affect my case? How they will verify my job field during my absent and if my employer don't answer friendly. Because he don't know about immigration.

What should i do???  withdraw case from Canada and apply for refund?Huh
Please reply....................

Very confused!!!

Hi all,

Assalamualikum. Thank u all for ur nice effort . I wanna know one thing from my Bangladeshi applicants. Is there anyone here bearing official passport of Bangladesh/Government employee? Is it possible for me to apply with government passport?

If there is anyone here, we may share experiences.

Kartic,

I am sure one of your upper managers/supervisors have very good relation with you.
Take his reference and his biz card. Read your visa office guide for detail.

Rickshawala

Singapore applicants must have regular passport.
Diplomatic, Official, Service and Public affairs passports are not accepted for Immigration in Canada.

Hope these help!

Thank u jnathan for ur reply.. But as a government employee how can i then apply? I have an official passport.Do i need to submit it to government and take another passport?

In that case, the passport will show my profession as Goverment service. Will it make any problem for me to apply or finally to leave Bangladesh?

There no hindrance for Govt employees to apply for canadian Immigration.
The problem is, they'll have to use Regular green passport.
Ask any other govt employee that applied to CAN Immi before, have you talked to Canadian High Commission to Dhaka about it?

I need to translate my wifes ssc marksheet in english.

Is it required to go to comilla baord and do the things or i wll go to notary and translate it in to english???

Can  anybody do in this way n will it accept by CHC SINGAPORE

Pls reply.....
Thanks
from my experience i could drop some sort of suggestiion here: if possible , you had better  collece an eglish copy.. but  a translated notarised copy will do , and mind it that  a certificate of translation by a notary must be attached with original bangla + translated copy
 best wishes

Hello BD friends,
It is my first post here. I am Arif from Dhaka , Bangladesh working for a telecommunication company. I am an rollout engineer whose duty is to supervise the technicians ( NOC 7241). I am able to do all their tasks since I have 4 years experience with this profession. So do you think that I should apply for NOC 7241? Today I had a session with one solicitor who said I can apply for that post. Is it too good offer from him? Should I approach or fall back? If possible suggest me.

Thanks.

Thanks Nasim.
I have another question. I did not do IELTS yet. But I like to send the first application. I can furnish other evidence (certificate from University, college and employer) of proficiency in English.
I plan do the IELTS later.
What do you think ? Is there any problem doing so ??
