In that case you can ask your bank to give you a letter which will state that you had an FDR previously with the same bank and it has been expired so you have started another FDR. Don't you worry guyz. If there is a problem, of course there is a solution....unless someone dies!

Thanks, Shaon, for your inspiration. However, one of my friends wrote to me that he maintained a FDR for 8/9 months which he showed to VO with his full documents. But when his uncle is in serious health condition, he lend the full amount of money to his uncle and his uncle assured him to pay within a month. In this case, a 5/6 month is without balance of his account. Do you think it will create any problem for my friend? If he makes a FDR again with the full amount, will he face any question?

What is your NOC? If its is it in the current demand list, hope your one will be processed faster than me, that is I can say. Sorry,dear, I am really confused about the time frame for the Pre June applicants. Don't worry, friend, hope we will hear good news within 3/4 months as per conversation with few senior friends.

in that case ask him to make an explanation letter stating the original scenario and send it. the VOs are very rational and they will accept your apology. But be careful that your statement is true.

Best option is to convert as per Bank suggestions. In that case, you have to make some proportionate TC. If you want to take more than that, you can purchase from outside (be cautious about fake note) and hide it or not disclose it during leaving Dhaka airport. Although in my case, i was not asked by anyone about the foreign currency. Don't take risk here, if you are asked. Just disclose as per bank suggestions.    

Before your arrival at Canada, cabin crew will provide you a arrival form where you have to disclose the foreign currency. Provide detail of currency here (don't hide anything here). They will not ask you whether the amount is sufficient or not. They just want to make sure about the amount of currency you bringing in even if it is below the amount requested for four family members.

Thanks Farima & others. I've completed med formalities. Dr Habibur Rahman & his staffs were friendly. RPRF also paid. Now I need ur help again to complete "Net worth statement". I've 2 FDR. Amount is 1550000. In savings a/c 80000. total 4 person. How can I show it? Eagerly wating prompt reply from experienced guys. Thanks in advance.

congratulations! i have done my MR formalities and send last day.
dont worry. this is very simple.
1. appointment any DR. as early as possible. the list of dr is given with MR bundle.
2. go to bank ( sonali) and pay 500tk for each person for police clearence certificate. u can write application or u can bring write paper. now go to DMP office at Mogbazzar. just Ramma thana road tunring point ( to make sure u can ask anybody there, they will show u). this time u must keep with u. 1. passport (all), photo copies of passport, photo copies of Bank Draft (which u got in sonali bank), application for each person( u can wrtie there, DMP office has a formate beneath their table, only u need white papers). submit all papers they will  ask. now Relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. police will verify (ek tu police vai-ke khusi korben, bujesen and after seven days u will get PCC.  check name, address, passport no etc.

3. in the same day or next day go to ur bank and demand for ur BANK STATEMENT. u know how much u need. or u can check cic website. before receive ur Bank statement check ur name, ac no etc.
4. take photo (at least three) of u and ur family member
5. check carefuly the name and DOB( for all member) in the MR form. photo copy the MR package (three copies). now move to Dr. it will take 30 mins to complete. i went to dr. Habibur Rahman. they r very nice to me. they told what to do..............
6. after DR meeting, keep the receipt and photo copy it (three cpoies). relax!
7. go to SCB at gulsan (dont go dhanmondi, they forward me at gulsan). try to go there early in the morning. u need all these papers i. Application Form(must bring)
ii. Medical Form
iii. Medical Receipt
iv. Passport + with photocopy
v. Landing fee req. form
vi. For Spouse, married certs

now wait there they will do every thing. after getting DD. come back home. relax.

COMPILE PAPER. FIRST TWO PAGES OF mr PACKAGE, MEDICAL RECEPT, PCC,NET WORTH FORM, BANK STATEMENT, AND MOST IMPORTANT AT THE TOP STAPLE DD. now send it through DHL or other mailing service( u must know the address).
IF THERE IS ANY SPELLING MISTAKE IN THE MR FORM, WRTIE A COVER LETTER AND EXPLAIN WHAT TYPE OF MISTAKE AND HOW TO CORRECT. AS A SUPPORT ATTACH THAT FORM PHOTOCOPY, CORRECT IT WITH RED INK AND PHOTOCOPY OF PASSPORT.

Hi,

You can give a certificate from bank stating that you have FDR in their bank & amount in BDT as well as CAD equivalent. Then you take your current bank statement which also shows CAD equivalent.

Do you give your FDR in initial POF. If so then no problem.  Please give the photocopy of FDR documents also to SGVO.

Its my understanding.  seniors can give more better advice.
