copy of "Form : Medical report"

Branches of SCB which are allowed to make BD for canada immigration:  
-Gulshan branch,
-Kawronbazar branch,
-Dhanmondi branch.
not sure about other branches

IFIC Bank also does Canadian Dollar Draft.You can contact IFIC Gulshan,Motijheel,Dhanmondi and Federation Branch for the job. I did from IFIC Bank.

Got my Medical request and RPRF along PCC request from Singapore VO yesterday. Letter date is 18th July. Well, i have two a quick question:

PCC: I have my FBI and local (Bangladesh) PCC taken in March 2011. Which is also most more than 4 months now. Since i was expecting the PCC requests much earlier, i ordered them after i got my PER on February 2011. Now, i have heard that PCC is valid for 3 months. However, the letter i have got from SGVO along with MR and RPRF does not specify an expiration period. Should i just send the PCC i have with me? Local new PCC is not an issue and can be obtainable within a week; but FBI would take minimum of 2 months to reproduce a new one - which would kill my 60 days time frame.

Anyone with an insight?

Also I would like to congratulate all forum members because of sharing their important feedback. But sometimes we make some horrible posting by attacking/fighting with each others which make no sense. Thanks everyone! Sam Bhai, any information regarding medical would be highly appreciated. Such as which doc should we use or which one is friendlier than the others. I have one infant kid with me and i want to make sure i go to a professional place. Any suggestion is appreciated. Do we need to make appointment for this? and what are the fees? payable in taka?

I knew SGVO is currently working on OCT 2010 applicants...
PCC: PCC is valid for 1 year. if u send PCC to CIO (not VO) then you have to sure that it is not more than 3 months old. Since you are sending PCC to VO, no worries.
by the way, you must get your bank draft from Standard chartered bank, BD from other banks will not be accepted.

Hasib bhai, i posted the same queries to another thread here [post 26/6 - in which you are very popular  ] - one member thinks that i should get new local pcc. FBI should be fine. Now here are the dates that i have on them:

FBI clearance dated April 11 2011 [3 months 7 days old if we consider the letter date on MR & RPRF letter ]
My local Police clearance March 23 2011 [3 months 25 days old if we consider the letter date on MR & RPRF letter ]
My wife's Police clearance April 17 2011 [3 months 01 days old if we consider the letter date on MR & RPRF letter ]

Am i good to go on them? i am planning to do medical on sunday and then do the bank draft on monday and send all the documents by Tuesday, 2nd September 2011.

I have also heard about 3 months validity. But as Hasib bhai saying its alright and there is no indication os such validity period on the letter - i am thinking of going forward with them. Please suggest.

Dr. wahab's clinic is best. it's in Baridhara diplomatic zone. very professional and friendly environment. neat n clean. tel. 8855953. no need for appointment. they r open on saturday also.  available from 8 am to12 pm & 3:30 pm to 8 pm. charge 3000/person. payable in cash taka. take the letter, medical reports (the forms vo sent with photos) and passport. also two copies of PP size photos/person. write name, date of birth and date of photo taken at the back of each photo. photos must not b more than 3 months old. u can collect the courier tracking no. from the reception day after the medical and track it online. they use fedex. whole process is very simple. blood n urine will be collected. chest x-ray that's it. max 45 mins ei complete hoye jabe.

This problem happens occasionally and is not true for everyone. These days most people get it within 2-3 months maximum. Maybe there was a lag made by election and postal strike etc. Which province you live in also plays a role in it. Ontario takes longer than others (due to high migrant population). Still, its supposed to be within 6 weeks but I heard nowadays Ontario takes 2 -3 months. Time needed is reducing gradually and will be shortened probably by the end of this year. Regardless, you can follow the steps here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/pr-card/apply-how.asp#urgent  to speed up your application or you can contact CIC call center 1-888-242-2100 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              1-888-242-2100      end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              1-888-242-2100      end_of_the_skype_highlighting , in case you already have applied for it and you think PR card has been long overdue. Also you can just dial 211 and ask for information from the new immigrant support people. I heard they're very helpful.

Btw, are you already living there? Can I know your NOC, timeline, please? I am just curious for my sake.

Actually I find people having their own secret threads in their own language kinda rude.

Canada has 2 official languages - English and French, and IMO any posts made on this public forum should be in one of those two languages. If people want their own little secret clubs they should do it in personal messages.
