Dear Wellwishers, i have following enquiries before i sent the full docs to London CHC:
1. for fund, if my available fund now goes up by another C$5000, is that any problem? i mean, will i have to fil in a new form or just state it in the letter?
2. my spouse has started a new job which is not in the Background/ Declaration. if i want to show it in the full docs for London CHC, will i have to fil in a new form or just state it in the letter?
3. my father's name is different in my passport & in my educational certificates, which i didn't notice before. how can i inform the London CHC about it?
Seniors or any well wishers, plz help............................................

I am thinking of withdrawing my old simplified applciation and reapply under new scheme. I applied in May 2007 and i think it will take another 1.5 years before i will even get a document update call. Its better to see if i can qualify under the new scheme.
But i am really confused with lot of situations. Such as I have Master in Economics and i am working as a Managing Director for a group of companies and i deal with Finance and Operation on daily basis. However my designation is only Managing Director. I cannot find the similar title on the NOC list. Some are suggesting me that i should have "Managing Director - Finance & Operation" in the new application and claim that i am with 0111. Any suggestions?
Another question, if you are involve in a job that is not listed in NOC, should you need to list them at your work experience as well when filling the application? And i assume i only count the jobs that are listed on NOC list now to calculate my total work experience.
My other NOC that are currently listed is 0631 (Restaurant Manager) and 4121 (Lecturer).

I am intending to immigrate myself to canada as a skill worker. My occupation is Electrician NOC code 7241. Now I am filling out my the FSW application and another related forms. I have few question if I will be selected by CIO Sydney office which visa office do I have to send my next application and where I have to go for an interview? Another question is regarding the fund. When I have to show the fund? If I put it at a time in my account will it be any problem? Plz answer me.

@ asif_rahman1234 .. why not you check the 38 NOC list for your profession? So far I think, teching profession is dropped from the list. Anyway, I may be wrong, chekc it on CIC website.

If you apply from Bangladesh, the visa office must be Singapore. And interview, it depends. It can be singapore or Dhaka. But mostly it placed at Singapore. For the fund, you have to show the proof while you send ur full document package to Singapore office after initial acceptance letter. You need to submit your bank account(s) or other financial statement(s). Well, if you put the whole amount at a time and show it to CHC, i donno what way they will evaluate. B'coz you have to show your income sources and related documents. You've to establish this fund will be avalible with you while you migrate to canada.

The best thing is to show 1 year's bank statement, if you can manage then you should arrange to have some transactions with the funds. While you do that you also have to take note of income tax regulation.
Well, I was in luck. I was asked for proof of fund twice and both the times I gave bank certificate showing fund position of a certain day. I am a 2005 applicant, last Sunday I have received my passport with the visa.
My feeling is your entire application set must give them the confidence that you will successfully survive in Canada.

Hi all, I'm the American who earlier posted about the fun of trying to get a PCC from Dhaka (while living in Canada). Well, it arrived in the mail yesterday Took a total of 10 months' effort to get (that includes the 2 months in the mail). It was the result of a lot of hours, trips, etc. on my behalf by a very dedicated and patient former colleague. Alas, I had to withdraw my FSW application a couple of weeks ago (will try again in a few months under the CEC class). So I will have to get a new PCC at that time Here's hoping the officer-in-charge won't change again, and a new one won't take as long! Cheers and best of luck to all -

One question: What is the evidence you all had provided for your work experience in Bangladesh? Employee reference is one, but what about Tax return paper, pat stub? Like we all know that in BD, we dont maintain those all that much. We do file income tax, but will that be enough?
How we are proving that we actually worked, got paid for and paid tax on them??

Currently My passport says that I am a Student though I have been working full time for the last 4 yrs. I chose the profession as student as I wanted to get into PhD program after I had finished my masters last week. Now, I wanna change my profession as IT professional on the passport. has anyone done that? Anyone else recently has taken IELTS from Wings ( Formerly BETS) in Dhaka? Would you please share your experience with us? I am gonna send my File within a month or so. to CHC Singapore.
What do IT professionals write at the place of Profession on their passport?

If CHC has not change their regulation then translation would do. You may like to check the pdf guides they provide in their website for confirmation.
