A lot of ppl got both of Assessment for Eligibility & Selection Decesion (Points=67_from CIO. So why will it be only 1 for MI-3? Mis understanding...........
Dear Abrar , There are several phase in application review in visa office , these are like below : Assessment against R11 ( placement of application by Sydney to Visa office) Final assessment against MI ( ministerial instruction) assessment of minimal requirement Assessment of selection criteria and factors ( after each verification like education , IELTS , relatives points they award the point) supplementary assessment ( interview , substitute evaluation ) Then send for final decision ( which called approved or refused R11) Even in GCMS note you got this in the eligibility assessment section where they normally put numerical serial and in TYPE they put like selection , MI, CIC Centralize intake office SO , its mean that in MI2 only 4 case yet to asses and MI3 only one case remain and for MI 1 number is huge regards candal0ve

Hello Hexa path , yes you should make an appointment before you go for madical checkup. if you applied without spouse then that is the right amount but so far i saw in the request paper they mentioned which amount you should pay and also mentioned standard chartered Bank and i think better is gulshan branch.
some one says about to go along with documents to do a bank draft but most of the applicant went to do bank draft 2nd or 3rd time caise they dont know which documents they ask for , so i hope it help you and others ..
Here are the Documents list to do a bank draft:-
1. Original Passport with 1 set photocopy you and each of your family members.
2. Initial Application forms which you sent at canada photocopy
3.Original Medical Money Receipt (after completion of medical DMP would given to you ) with Photocopy.
4. Nikah nama Photocopy.
5. Marriage Certificate photocopy.
6.Original Bank draft Request page where shown dollar amount with photocopy.
thanks

Hello nkshumon Thanx for your advice. I was advised to contact SCB foreign exchange branch at Karnafuly City at Kakrail and I found that was a real mess area. hundreds of student file candidates crowding there. Officers cant attend them properly. After waiting 1.5 hours I got an officer and he told the same as you. He also told, as they are directly dealing with foreign exchange, all applications has to go through their desks. But i am really scared on their crowd

Thanks for your reply. My old passport has these VISAs. But now i have MRP. I have initially applied with my old PP information. And by time I have already updated my application with new MRP information.
You need not to mention any visit which is less than 6 months duration. I have visited malaysia (3 times), Thailand (4 times), KSA (once), Dubai (once) and send all copies with initial application and update documents, got MR on 18 June. Hope this will help you out. MSKC

I dont know which location suit you but i found only 1 person when i went to do my bank draft at scb gulshan branch , by the way you dont need any account in scb bank if you have an account then you have some discount like 500 taka thats it , nothing else. look man i suggest you to prefer scb gulshan branch cause you feel relax to do your work . ok then if you have any further query then ask me . Thanks NKSHUMON

Alhamdulillah! I got my MR yesterday. My time line is
We received your application for permanent residence on March 10, 2010. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on May 27, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application and supporting documents were received by the Singapore office. They are pending review. We transferred your application to the Singapore office on May 16, 2010. The Singapore office may contact you. Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 20, 2012.
Medical Received July 9, 2012, Issuing Date July 2, 2012
NOC: 0213
I have a query. I visited Malaysia 2 times (each time 30 days) and Singapore 1 time (5 days) in 2006. I didnt mention this in my background declaration as these visits are temporary visits. Now they asked again to send the Background declaration form along with MR and RPRF. So what should i do? take the chance? Mention these visits or avoid it because those visits are not more than 6 months (According to the Generic Application form, question no 12- Previous countries of residence - Check the box to indicate whether you have lived in any country other than your country of citizenship or your current country of residence for more than six (6) months in the past five (5) years.). I thought this is applicable for Background Declaration form also. Now I am thinking .... what to do...
Will be glad if any one can suggest correctly. Thanks to all forum members and wishing good luck for the MR waiting persons. /Talk
From my personal experience you should mention. I had short stay which I did not mention and found that they noticed in the CAIPS note.
