Dear Deshi10:
If you check the application package you will find that for background declaration you only need to mention those countries where you stayed more then 6 month. for short stay you dont need to mention. For our office purpose and also vacation purpose we visited lot of places for short periods so that doesnt mean that we have to mention all this in our form. Nowhere in this forum you will find that they have mentioned short stay in the form. Even if you applied through consultants, they also didnt ask to give the details about short stay. Whatever the information you have in your passport regarding short stay has nothing to do with background declaration form.

At first congratulation to you. and thanks for sharing this news with us. regarding your quires, if your passport have mention these visa, then mention it otherwise you will be in trouble. if passport doesn't show, then avoid this information. it fully depend on your passport information. i think it will be not make any issue cause these tour duration not exist their time limit. senior will enlightened this.

Dear talktom, dont get confused and no need to mention anything about your short trips as this will make visa office more confused. Since you updated your passport to MRP so that may have resulted the VO to ask for a new background Declaration.
Thanks for your reply. My old passport has these VISAs. But now i have MRP. I have initially applied with my old PP information. And by time I have already updated my application with new MRP information.

Now they asked again to send the Background declaration form along with MR and RPRF. So what should i do? take the chance? Mention these visits or avoid it because those visits are not more than 6 months (According to the Generic Application form, question no 12- Previous countries of residence - Check the box to indicate whether you have lived in any country other than your country of citizenship or your current country of residence for more than six (6) months in the past five (5) years.). I thought this is applicable for Background Declaration form also. Now I am thinking .... what to do...
