Dear all expected / immigrants
I have got my passports with visa yesterday. Want to share some flavour of my case. Started applying in Sept'2011 in Nova scotia under FSW scheme. Got the updates in ecas & received a letter with file no in dec'2011. Saying that file has been transferred to singapore visa office for processing. Received a letter from sg vo to give police clearance, medical & passport together in March'12. They gave me two months time. Gave everything to vo in Early may'2012. After three weeks I requested to take my & family passports as we need to travel duting school holiday in Singapore. After three weeks gave back pp to visa office. After two weeks I have received a call to collect all pp with visa. That happened yesterday and it was about nine months journey  Planning to land in late this year or early next year. Hoping the best for all in this forum.

That officer got caught only in his 3rd assignment of the scam.
Corruption there in Canada is eventually demolished sooner at the end of the day/week. however, in many asian and african countries, corruption is patronized by the government and never face any action ever.

The thing is it was a scam, a single officer in CIC cannot  get someone a Permanent Residency.
files go through a serial of departments and a line of officers before getting a final approval.

This is an isolated incidence which has been identified and will be dealt with by laws. In contrast, we here in Bangladesh have institutionalized corruption and indeed corruption is patronised by our governtment.
Moreover, this particular CIC official, as his name suggests, is of Latino origin,so it is not surprising! It would really have been surprising if he were of English/French origin.

Here are the Documents list to do a bank draft:-

1. Original Passport with 1 set photocopy you and each of your family members.

2. Initial Application forms which you sent at canada photocopy

3.Original Medical Money Receipt (after completion of medical DMP would given to you ) with Photocopy.

4. Nikah nama Photocopy.

5. Marriage Certificate photocopy.

6.Original Bank draft Request page where shown dollar amount with photocopy.

Thats all you need to arrange before you go to bank . as you mentiones you have 3 member so you should take 84000 taka for 980 canadian dollar .

There are some abnormal cases,which can go  faster,one  of  my  friend  got Visa within 7 month,he was mi-2,sgvo applicant,so  it can happen
