I shud give up on it now! It screws my mood all the time! they sent me some letter once upon a time...it's been history now...may be it was a love letter!  By the time it will reach me I'll tie the knot with someone else!   |

Hi Bros.
I need your advise for the following:
I have applied in July 2011 , and got my file transfered to Singapore VO , NOC 0631 restaurant manager
in my application i have submitted my official college scripts, which is 1 year college diploma which i have studied in Australia . Also i have put a copy of a Non accredited university degree distance learning in hospitality management , i wrote them a letter that this degree is not accredited and i have just put a copy to verify that i have studied something similar to what am working , and i mentioned that am not claiming point for this non accrdited degree.
Also iclaimed 5 points as my brother is canadian PR living in Canada.
Today i got my CAIPS notes ,
in the calclulations they have not issued any points for my brother in Canada ,
and they have considered my 2 years non accredited degree as 25 points . and they didnot mention anything about my Australian college degree .
at the bottom of the notes written: Singapore VO to verify the Priciple applicant 2 years BA degree .
Shall i write them a letter to notify them about the two erros: 1st am not claiming any point for this un accredited degree at all , second: they have by mistake forgot to include my brothers points?
pls advise

Hi Osti, Even if you do not claim point on your degree, the VO may verify the authenticity of the degree because the submitted documents and information are subject to routined integrity checks. There may be two possibilities as to why you were not awarded points for your relative. 1. You have submitted insufficient documents as a proof to the relative and as such VO may not have sufficient documentation to establish the relationship. 2. Your relative's current economic status in Canada may not be satisfactory to the VO. You may contact VO requesting they reconsider your claim for relative. mmh93 Hi Bros.

Dear mmh93,
in my caips points break down , they have put : credentials: 25 points 2 years BA degree 14 years education
that means they are considering this non accredited degree as a credential, wherby they have to count 13 years of education with 1 year college degree.
So u think i have to send an imemdiate letter to singapore vo notify and remind them that this degree is issued from non accredited and the university in USA was shut down in 2002 ( Lakehurst university) , and i have requested rearlier in my application not to claim any point as my australian credential is a an accredited one .
Shall i also include in my letter additional copies of my brother's PR card, phone bills, utility bills, tax invoice etc.. in Canada ?
pls advise
