asking for CAIPS delay the process? you are not asking for CAIPS to your dealing visa officer. its a paid based service offered by CIC. it is ordered to know at which stage the processing is standing: Look here Will requesting the CAIPS file delay the processing of my application? No. Requesting your CAIPS file does not affect the processing of your visa application.
