Dear Forum members
one of my friends found his IP date yesterday (1st May'12) & his agent who lived in Canada told him that he would receive his MR on June or July'12. He is pre june (2010) applicant & while applying for resident-ship, his agent told him that he would get IP in May'12!!

Dear Mun, All the very best to your friend and you as well. But, I know one of my pre june 2010 applicant friend got IP date as Feb 23, 12. As per your friend's lawer's calculation, he/she was supposed to have MR by March or April 2012. But still nothing happen. It is definitely in the Mighty Hand of Almighty. I would like to know about the Scarborough and donmills area. I mean how it is for living with family, facility, safety etc. Those who have relevant info please response.

tomhossain, I stayed in Scarborough back in 2001. You'll find many BD people living there. Apartments are there with cheap rate compare to other parts of the city. Safety is not that standard as I was mugged in that are once by black ppl. Had a fight with 4 guys with no luck of mine  Donmills I never stayed that area I remember it is close to downtown and shall have quiet high rate for APT. Staying out of downtown is good for family life if you have your own car as for going to malls and groceries you have to travel through your car... But i Suggest you go to Mississauga or Brampton to have a nice family life with good people...and safe place to stay...even you'll find quiet cheap rate apt there....try this...Good Luck for you... |

Dear fellows,
No update of my file, probably one of the oldest MI2 applcant... However, I got my student visa (F1) for USA and need to attend my class in first week of August, 2012. Is it possible to request CIC/SGVO to transfer my file to Buffallo or any other CHC at USA, if I have to go to USA before any update of my file?
In fact, I am in a dilemma about what to do if no update comes before I leave for USA. I do not want to loose the opportunity of getting Canadian PR card in any situation...
