I am comparatively a new member of this forum, and always appreciate the discussion held on this board.

Its really worthy! It would be really helpful for me to have seniors comments on my below query:

My spouse applied as principle applicant as post June/MI-2 candidate and RBVO status for more than 12 months. So frustrated!

Now I  want to apply in different occupation category in July 2012, Is their any implication on her/our application if I apply again under new NOC, Please comment !

Thanking you

Tamin, could you share your application date, NOC, PER date and since when your status is RBVO? Thanks.

You are definitely not alone, my case is also more than 12 months RBVO!!! And there are other forum members in similar boat.

BTW, I assume your visa office is Singapore, am I right?

Dear ZafruBd Bhai,

Is it means, SVO don't count 25 points for ( 10+2+3+2)=17years eduction,
But their website clearly mentioned, it would be awarded 25 points for 17years
education as per the applicants native eduction system.

Pls. advice.

Thanks
Jackdaw

Canada's Immigration Plan for 2012
The 2012 levels plan reflects the Government of
Canada's efforts to address economic, social and
humanitarian objectives. The admission range
of 240,000 to 265,000 is maintained for the
sixth consecutive year, reaffirming the commitment
to sustained immigration levels to continue to fulfil
the Department's objectives. The range is based
on consultations with provinces and territories,
stakeholders, Action Plan for Faster Immigration
objectives and operational capacities.
The admission ranges for 2012 will also support CIC's
progress to modernize the immigration system, with
more efficient and effective processing, strengthened
program integrity, and improved client service.
Momentum to meet Action Plan objectives has been
building since 2008, and the 2012 immigration levels
plan will sustain progress and position CIC for
achieving its goal of a modernized immigration system
in the coming years.

Dear Experienced & Senior Members,

Can anybody provide correct answer of the above ambiguity carried by Mr. Jackdaw?
Does the above quote mean, 25 points will be awarded only for 17 years education with Doctoral degree??

Actually we know that 17 years education (10+2+3+2  or 10+2+4+1) with Masters degree will also be awarded 25 points. So far I know SGVO instruction guide has no indication regarding points award/education system/how much point would be awarded for which kind of education

Which one is correct? Please don't reply with confusion, reply only with confidence, will be highly appreciated if there is any reference of CIC or CHC-SG regarding this issue as well.

With advanced thanks.

Best regards.
