Dear Skilled Catagory Bangladeshi Applicants,
WELCOME TO ALL!
From now onwards let us start discussing only "in this TOPIC" so that it will be easy for all of us to track on issues relevant to all of us who have applied through the CHC/CIC in Singapore. However, it DOES NOT MEAN that Bangladeshis who have applied through the CHC/CIC other than Singapore can not participate here.
As a first step let us first log in all our names and the date of applications so that we will easily get an idea about how many of us are in the queue rather than searching trough page by page of the tracker. "Then it is your FORUM".....ask, discuss, inform, get informed, it will remain all open to all of you.
Cheers!

Appreciate your effort.
Pls visit "trackitt.com". As of date you will get 30 Bangladeshi applicant's in the "trackitt".
A hv applied in March,2006. AOR date 20/04/2006. Still waiting to hear from CHC Singapore.
Now once again I have planned to apply for PNP/SINP (Saskatchewan nominee programme) as my relatives moved to Saskatchewan province last year from Toronto, at least to see which one will be faster whether FSW or PNP.
All the best.

jewel if you are March 2006 FSW applicant then it is better for you to continue it rather than SINP/PNP because now a days they are taking about two years for whole process and u already hv passed your three years and within two or less years, u will get your PR through FSW. with SINP/PNP, u will hv restriction to live there for at least first three years. .. its my advice only

Dear Jewel and Dear S.K, Thank you very much for your voluntary participation. I agree with Jewel that there are quite a few Bangladeshis registered in the "Trackitt.com", of whom most have applied through the CIC in Singapore. I have posted exactly the same message with exactly the same thread there as well. I can see (till now) that some 44 people have already viewed my message in the federal worker's discussion forum and 16 in the Quebec forum, of whom I believe that most are Bangladeshis. Very surprisingly, not a single response yet, which may create a mixed notion among us....I don't know, why do we need to be so remarkably secret or isolated?! Are we shy?! Are we not social enough?! I do not believe that we are conservatives!!! There clearly and surely is a problem!!!!! Trust me; I just tried to bring us in front of the crowd, with the name tag of our beloved country. With all YOUR help, I just tried to open up the door so that all Bangladeshis can come in, meet each other, and communicate to each other so that we can identify our weaknesses and problems in the field of Canada Immigration Process. Naturally, this EFFORT would make us stronger only and in the long run a lot more Bangladeshi applicants would benefit from it. Dear Syed, Jewel and S.K, may I request you to stay always in touch? I do not know whether you also have registered in the "Trackitt.com", if yes, would you please positively mind to respond there too. I humbly urge all of you for our social and moral unity. Will you please cooperate with me. I promise you my brothers that actually in the long run you will not cooperate just with me but with the whole nation. Wish you all the best brothers.

Dear Sohel09,
Thanks for your idea and really appreciate your effort to bring all Bangladeshi's in one fold and hope that they will join with us soon.
Dear S.K,
Thanks for your reply. My priority definitely FSW program. Since I got an opportunity to apply for SINP, so I am thinking to take this chance and will continue both application. In SINP category to get the nomination from SINP authority, minimum 1 year required and 6-8 month will take in Singapore. But at the end I will prefer FSW if everything goes in order. Pls comment... By the way what is your status..?
All the best,

Dear Jewel, My opinion is.. go for SINP as well. Does not matter which one comes first. In the long run, the goal will definitely be obtaining PR status as early as possible. By the way, please read the following posting and inform immediately, if any one of you know about "How to receive PCC from Iran on urgent basis..... Thank you all for your great help. "I am towhida from Bangladesh my AOR is 5th of Feb. 2005(skill worker).on 15th of April I got my UL and medical together. medical done but police certificate from Iran still is not in my hand so donno what to do but my other police certificate is done. but still I have no idea how to get pc from Iran and my 60days will be finish on 15th of June .....this is my position,,,take care ...." Thanks once again.

Dear All,
I've applied in Singapore Office on Feb, 07 under simplified application process. Acknowledgement letter is also received. Last couple of months back I have received a letter stating that whether I am still interested to immigrate in Canada. One of my friends also received such letter. We have replied positively. My friend informed that his colleague also received such letter and he replied positively and after sending his letter, he received another letter after six months for submission of all final documents.
Anybody have any news regarding this matter?
Thanks,

Dear SaimonBlue, Although I have not received such letter, however, I have seen similar postings as yours from many different applicants in many different forums like this one. All, I have understood that it did not have a big impact in the processing of the CIC. Because, most applicants wanted to continue with their PR procedures. And, not responding to that letter was considered as positive sign from applicants who wished to continue.

Instructions on which skilled worker applications are eligible for processing [/color] Under changes to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, federal skilled worker applications are assessed for eligibility according to the eligibility criteria listed below. Note: This does not apply to applicants intending to live in the province of Quebec. These criteria affect you only if you applied on or after February 27, 2008. If you applied before February 27, 2008, your application will be processed according to the rules that were in effect at that time. Is my application eligible for processing? In order for your application to be eligible for processing, you must either: have an offer of arranged employment, OR be a foreign national living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student, OR be a skilled worker who has at least one year of experience in one or more of the following occupations: 0111: Financial Managers 0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers 0311: Managers in Health Care 0631: Restaurant and Food Service Managers 0632: Accommodation Service Managers 0711: Construction Managers 1111: Financial Auditors and Accountants 2113: Geologists, Geochemists and Geophysicists 2143: Mining Engineers 2144: Geological Engineers 2145: Petroleum Engineers 3111: Specialist Physicians 3112: General Practitioners and Family Physicians 3141: Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists 3143: Occupational Therapists 3142: Physiotherapists 3151: Head Nurses and Supervisors 3152: Registered Nurses 3215: Medical Radiation Technologists 3233: Licensed Practical Nurses 4121: University Professors 4131: College and Other Vocational Instructors 6241: Chefs 6242: Cooks 7213: Contractors and Supervisors, Pipefitting Trades 7215: Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades 7217: Contractors and Supervisors, Heavy Construction Equipment Crews 7241: Electricians (Except Industrial and Power System) 7242: Industrial Electricians 7251: Plumbers 7252: Steamfitters, Pipe fitters and Sprinkler System Installers 7265: Welders and Related Machine Operators 7312: Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics 7371: Crane Operators 7372: Drillers and Blasters – Surface Mining, Quarrying and Construction 8221: Supervisors, Mining and Quarrying 8222: Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service 9212: Supervisors, Petroleum, Gas and Chemical Processing and Utilities NOTE: the occupations above are all Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification list.
If you are not sure if you should apply as a skilled worker, you can use the eligibility tool to get an idea of whether your application would be eligible for processing. Federal skilled worker applicants who do not meet the above criteria will be informed of this and will have their processing fee refunded. There are many ways to immigrate to Canada. If you don’t meet the criteria to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, you may qualify under another category. Learn more about your options.
