Vai o bonera,

you have already known that i have got the visa on 4 Dec together with Ahsan and pulok vai. This is to share the experience.

My token number was 22 and number 18 was running. For the official reason i must had to get my passport back on that day as i need that for 9 Dec. And the last chance today is Ashura off day. Ok, when the lady called 22, i told her the situation and she told me that i came to early and passports have not reached yet. I requested her to check for me with a ........... Smile. Finger twisted. She checked and said no, i was just uttering Allah, Allah. Drop beat in the heart. Suddenly the lady replied again saying, " O, wait, there is your name". Vai, o bonera, bujhtei partesen my condition. Allai mukh tuila chaise.

It was really thrilling.

Please pray for me. I hv learnt lot of thing from this forum. I specially thanks Dr. Hasib, Ahsan vai and the creator. But thanks goes to all.

i have got RBVO through ecas status on 18/11/11. but still i have not got any snail mail by SGVO. on the other hand, NDVO are already sending 2nd AOR by email. how long does it takes usually to send AOR snail mail by SGVO? so far that i came to know that SGVO will give high priority to MI3.

I think  ur post man lost  ur  letter,same  case  to me.visa  office  usually send letter within 2-3 days of  rbvo status.6 month  passed  I didnt  got  my letter but  on my  CAIPS note  I  found  they sent  my   letter on  8th june  2011.wait  2weeks more then  dont wait  for that

Friends, yesterday i got my PP back from CHC Dhaka with VISA!!!  

I went to check on them since i did not receive the so called registered letter even though i have been on "Decision Made" for last 3 weeks and i was on 7th week after submitting the PPs. The lady was kind enough to look for the PPs and there i got them!!

Thanks everyone here ! Without the support of you guys, this was not possible! Especially Hasib bhai, thank you very much for your help all the time and every time. I certainly appreciate this.

Great to see so many fellow Bangladeshis here!!  

Well, I am preparing my documents to apply for immigration in the skilled worker category. I need a bit of help, if you may..

1. In the Generic Application Form for Canada ( IMM0008ENU_2D ), there is a field for "National Identity Document" where I need to state my Card Number, Country of Issue, Issue Date and Expiry Date. But our National ID Card does not have any Date of Expiry Mentioned on it. Now, if I leave the "Expiry Date" field blank in the Generic Application Form, it does not "Validate". When I click "Validate" an error message comes up saying that field is still blank. What should I do? Can anyone please help?

2. Can anyone tell me how my "intended place to reside in Canada" affects my application? My sister is a PR in Canada, she stays in Toronto, but the occupation category I'm applying has highest demand in BC. Should I give Toronto or giving BC will increase my chances? Anyone..please?

ANS: Validity of National ID is exactly 15 years. (for reference read page 3, point 7 of the gazette   ecs.gov.bd/MenuExternalFilesEng/271.pdf  )

ANS: It doesn't matter. Choosing BC/ON is not going to increase your chances. But normally, it might be expected/assumed by officers that applicant will want to reside in place where they have family and friends.As it will be easier for you to adjust in new environment. Also Toronto, has many job opportunities in different sectors. It is very hard to get the same job, right from the beginning in Canada, that you are doing in Bangladesh. Also cost of living is much higher in BC. So, Toronto is the best choice.

He was sitting back sit in the first session. But while the last session started, he quickly came to the front table beside "Chocolate apa" (Jodio namkoroner sharthokota nai).... Because of some one tall like Hasib bhai....

"Chocolate apa" represented Group 1 on the session and her presentation was the best. she also offered free chocolates from Canada to ahsan bhai who was the active team member of group 2, which was the most flop group among 4 groups on that day.
I was beside Chocolate apa to tell her that she is a bit taller than our ahsan bhai and that's why she could beat ahsan bhai's group....lol
