everything was possible at Dhaka International Airport. I wouldn't be surprised to know if you were handcuffed for carrying extra money and later got released by paying bribe to the immigration officials.
So far so good. a long flight waiting for you in the morning. I guess PIA has a stopover in LHR.

Dear All Bangladeshi Applicants,
I need some clarification, although I'm a PNP applicant and know this is a thread of FSW. My friend after waiting nine months hanging in "Application Received" status and losing his patience, emailed to SG VO and was replied as follows:
"File is still in active process."
Is it a routine reply or it has any meaning literally? Hope anyone can clarify this regardless of the PNP or FSW category.
My second query is: How or where can I get One stop Police certificate in Bangladesh and what are the docs they require? I just want to know the process for someone residing in Sylhet and also has his permanent Sylheti address as mentioned in Passport.
Looking for your kind guidance.

1. The reply is correct so far. "Still in Active Process" seems positive but will need time. 2. There is no one stop service in Bangladesh Govt offices as long as i know. For PCC u will need to collect treasury challan of Tk. 250/- (for each person) from govt bank (Sonali bank better). Then u need to write an application on white paper addressing the DMP commissioner stating purpose for asking PCC with your PP details and address. Photocopy of your PP, Application, Challan all to be submitted to Ramna Police HQ at the so called "ONE WINDOW CELL" for PCC. they will send query to your local thana/ P.S . Then concerned officer from your thana will call u for tips or will come to ur house for the same. At the time of submission, they will give u a date of delivery. U can collect on the date if keep track with the thana. BR Ahsan |

its only 7 months for you. you could see your status anytime changing to IP and then within 2-3 weeks the MR.
